If matchmaking works – why would i be matched WITH bad players vs good players? (in fact i think that beating bads with bad team is always easier than top team v top team – maybe except foefire)

And obviously the first few games i played i didnt have a top team…

Of course it works i tested it last night with three people. 2 games. One we all got in and another 2 of us got in the same game. We can argue whether in the grandscheme of things if its a big deal and what can be done about but to deny it you have your head in the sand and should just shut up imo. There has been proof plastered all over this forum in screen shots and anecdote. Its not fool proof but the population of people queueing for tpvp at any moment is pretty small and if you queue at the same time you have a few good chance of being on the same team. Why does it bother people to admit this is happening? Stop being delusional over how many people are playing this game for tpvp. Tpvp is not that popular.

Are you trying to troll? Stop trying to start an argument. Read the forums for a few minutes before posting or something. Your 10-1 doesn’t mean all that much by the way. If the system was truly working, you wouldn’t be much higher than 50% even at the top of the ladder.

Yeah there is, you have to be relatively same rating. So if Shan, Stunning, Ostrich, H Necro and Arrow in the eye wanted to play together they could if they did a countdown and pressed join solo because they are all same rating, and you’d get something like this. A 1-50 team vs a 200-500 team.

However if your trying to sync with someone with a rating of 25 and your rating is 500 its impossible.

Its not really syncing per say, its how there matchmaking works, Anet loves to laugh at people with 300-500 rating getting there kitten wooped by 1-50 people and loves to see people rage quit because the team they’re facing is impossible to beat. They don’t want to make it fair now, cant have h necro and shan with others vs ostrich, stunning and an arrow in the eye with others.

The only problem with syncing is if they use VOIP. The only problem to fix it is to give an integrated VOIP. You cannot avoid syncing with the current population.

Because that’s not how the system works. If you’re lucky and win your first five games, that doesn’t make you a good player. I was paired with one absolutely horrible engineer back when I was 21st on the Leaderboards (kept firing the Skyhammer at empty points, and pretty much melted instantaneously whenever he got into a fight), and I lost three games in a row. After that, I was being paired against average players while my team was fairly crappy, and thus began a rather unfortunate losing streak for me.

I’ve since picked that up a little bit, but it’s going to be incredibly difficult for me to climb the leaderboards again.
