So, Mesmer-only teams? It has become so common lately that it gets annoying, and they are mostly the same copy-paste build too…

And it’s not only when you join in a team, I joined a random tourney with my Mesmer and was in a game with 8 mesmers, out of 10 players. Seriosuly? And this happens more and more and more often, what is going on here?

Similar case with hot joins, more than 6+ Thieves on almost every single game, someone would think that with 8 professions to choose from, it would be impossible to see only 2 professions being played in PvP, Thieves in hotjoin and Mesmers in tournaments are almost in every game and in great numbers…

Thieves can only play hotjoins now. If they actually play anything competitive in tpvp..they will get crushed. if you want to see less thieves… go solo que tournies.

Soon somebody will show up and tell you that mesmer and thieves are fine..but eles are OP, also you’re lying and people run only 3-4 eles for team, I can bet all you want!

LOL! Man I was sure , sorry OP but @mursie has beaten me by few secs, so let’s change the bet..soon you’ll get somebody telling that only eles are found in tPvP, like 3-4 for team.

Thiefs and Mesmers are not OP . My goodness look at the ladder. do you see all thiefs and mesmers at the top? NO.

Hotjoins have a prevelance of thiefs and mesmers but not tournies. Hotjoin is annoying, but not competitive, try that vs a real team and you would get destroyed.

I played 11 Tournament games today, then got sick and stopped. In every single one of them I fought teams of 3+ Mesmers, some with 5 Mesmers too. I could care less what happens at the top of the leaderboards, I care about my own game, at my low rating, that gets ruined by only playing against Thieves in hotjoin and Mesmers in tournaments.

Thieves that are actually so good at their class that they perform well in tournaments despite their handicap get beaucoup respect. Mesmers currently have a build that’s very easily sucessful in tournaments, which is why so many are around, similar to the bunker eles before they were nerfed a bit. Give it time, there will be another flavor of the month soon enough.

Agreed. It’s absurd how some people say “Oh, but at the top levels…” etc etc. Why should the majority of people give a flying kitten about what happens with 1% of the play? If there’s a problem affecting a vast majority of games, then it is a real problem!

Yeah, I see that coming fast as well, daydream. They are, for the moment, hard enough to play properly, though, that there aren’t just a ton of them.
