Every map I go to… every single map. This stupid thing stays on my screen and the battle music won’t stop playing. Can someone like.. halp me? It’s been like this for 2 days and I’ve tried resetting my game/computer etc many times

Did you try logging into an alt? Changing your graphics settings (temporarily)? It could also be a corrupt game file — look on wiki for how to verify integrity http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Command_line_arguments

I got a worse one lol every time I exit GW (alt tab windows key etc) when i change back my entire UI is gone. I have to change graphics settings twice to get them back. Worse yet I’ve had this happen in the middle of matches. Completely destroys me for 20-30 seconds.

I know this isn’t the thread topic,
But there’s a key to turn off your UI (For screenshots and such), did you do something silly and bind it to alt or something?

Nah that is set to ctrl kitten h

check the differences in my screenshots.

I tried using the above to fix it all it did was remove black border. I believe this is an eyefinity/3 monitor issue.

Still on my screen, no luck with anything.

Sounds like your char is stuck at a point in time when you capped all three bases and hasn’t updated since. It must really suck to have the battle music playing like your in the twilight zone though lol !!!

You could try deleting the local.dat file in your documents/gw2 folder but then you will have to redo your sound/video settings. Not sure this will help but might not hurt to try.

Other then that, don’t other pop ups replace this message or you don’t see any pop ups at all, such as ‘X player is on a rampage!’ ‘NPC has spawned’ etc etc. Quite a weird bug, would drive me crazy to play pvp like that.

On the positive you can dispute with anet whenever you don’t have 3 bases because clearly ‘computer says YES!’ You are clearly the legal owner of all three points. GL man!
