mesmers that u cant catch if u are not thief, jumping on u from stealth ….
before mesmer jumped on u,u got knockdownes by staff ele ,and feared by nekro , of course nekro removed all ur boons ,than mesmer removed what left ,oh when i killed 1 in 2 v2 war came with hammer and couldnt stomp …..

forgot that everything probably would look different but in last 5-6 games i get 3 nonames ,playing like on hot join (for example ranger capping point with me after i 1v1 someone ),and it should be match from top 100 solo q

and mesmers …….wtf is wrong with u devs ? give them more dmg pls ,where u see any skill in this staff gs build ,spamming everything from huge range , than switch position , or use portal ,and spam more , how much dmg they can put in 2-3 secs ? 1 milion ?and dont even tell me to dodge it ……

and when u will put something to counter , feared ,feared , knckdowned ,knockbacked ,pulled ……where is skill when ur perma cc-ed

u promote totally stupid and "no skill required " builds , 3 staff eles ,1 engi turret , and mesmer/ gs , staff/ in oposite team , in my team was 1 good mesmer , and 3 people from hot joins …..

for a long time this game didnt make me so mad ……..

People have been playing tanky specs for way too long… Now they think that all that power comes with the same tankiness or survivability as say a classic Hambow (simply because they do not understand the classes) and cry about it…

Like I said, people who play Mesmer are ALWAYS hiding under that class to hide their low mechanics. Mesmer is ALWAYS been an all-time braindead zero skill class, yet people fail to admit simple things. Like seriously when is invulnerability ever skill? Those things shouldn’t been deleted from the start of the game, sigh. (Including Endure Pain and Berserker Stance, yes.)

Even a thief shouldn’t be a problem on a Mesmer, I don’t have trouble on thief you know why? Oh right, cause I still do damage on my Soldier Amulet Mesmer in team fights.

I’m a nerco I had more issue with turrent eng and longbow ranger compare to Mesmer. Although among the 3 memser is more annoying but overall they are quite easy if you understand how they work.

Are you upset you got killed by Necro, Ele and Mesmer focus fire? Cause you SHOULD die to that.

By your logic not just mesmer is OP, because the top teams also use:

• Guardian
• Warrior
• Elementalist
• Thief
• Engineer
• Ranger (R O M on off times)
• And sometimes Necromancer, though more prominent on NA

to win u need mesmer guard thief combo , and most of the time ele as 4th , the 5th is for 4 other profs
show me 2 top teams in match, 1 with mesmer , and second without mesmer , i will be very suprised if this team without mesmer will win (im talking about EU scene )

Nice to see that people are starting to notice how broken mesmer is. The passive fear necro needs some changes so much passive fear too, but not as broken as mesmers. Eles are fine they way they are now, they are actually getting a buff to the elite elemental next update =)

Hoping that more people realize how op mesmer is and we as a comunity start focusing the nerf requests to the shatter build. Keep spreading it and trying to convince as many people as you can to help the cause.

Teams who can work around the weakness of a build can make it peform better within their own team philosophy …

CM philosophy is apparently running full bunker, whereas Mesmer/Thief comps do not… This is a way of playing… And since it is top tier play, you got people adjusting these same kinds of philosophy…

NA is also kind of interesting in that respect since their top team plays something never seen before – granted, the discussion is about EU, but you cannot take away that they simply adjusted their philosophy according to what they thought was best …

The reason why Mesmer is picked within top teams has more to do with teams being comfortable with the playstyle the whole team has, and severely less to it being “unbalanced” – because again, if you think it is unbalanced because “Top teams are good with it” then nerf all the other classes I mentioned because they are being used on top tier…

Yeah Mesmer is so OP. Say next to a Mesmer: “Thief incoming…”
All you hear now is: " Where is he? WHERE? GIMME A KITTEN TARGET ON HIM…PROTECT ME, OK I BETTER RUN NOW GUYS… I NE….oh i´m dead."
Yeah Mesmer is vaible if played correctly like every other class and work the best atm with a thief to duo-burst and protect him against other thiefs. But it´s the same with other Glass-Dmg-Dealer, if you let them freecast…of course they will kill you ^^. I´m not saying l2p, but try Mesmer against better players and you will see, they kill you in seconds if you not have the skill.

with gs + shater how much dmg in 2-3 secs ? is it 9-10k without any crit ? with 46% (66 % with fury)crit it is 15 -20 k ? how much is it ? avarage hp is like 17 k ? protection …..hmmmm….u dont have protection couse it is removed by shater or mind stab….

mesmer is balanced ! yes it is ,as long as u have one in ur team ,or u are the mesmer ….

I think if you would ask people how to play against mesmer and take some tips from them, instead of just saying Mesmer is the godfather of kitten… but i guess it´s wasted time. Some people dont want to listen. cheers ^^

On one side anet is dumbing the game down so that you dont even learn to dodge until higher levels, and on the other it’s making it so that face to organized players there is absolutly nothing you can do:

Necro boonstrip stability – Fear, Mesmer daze, Ranger pewpewpew, and your dead.
No matter how bad or good you are at the game there is nothing that can counter that combo.

If rangers are getting a nerf because "too many rangers are using longbows " I suggest anet to nerf mesmer gs because too many mesmer are using a greatsword.

ive never had a problem with mesmers with any class. if im to be honest i have it set up to where 1 of my classes is spec for a certain type of player. I find it wierd that everyone comes on here complaining about how there build cant beat a certain class and some people are complaining about every class. No invulnerability no beserker stance or endure, no invisibility. Jeez your either horrible at pvp or you have a terrible build your unwilling to change since you cant win with it.

I heard Mesmers were tough to play. I rolled one a few days ago and played 10 arena matches. Of those 10 I lost 0. I was winning 1v1 and 2v1 as my 1st day on a mesmer. Hell, my 1st 20 minutes as one, I was facerolling.

It doesnt take a lot of skill to spam 1 on GS and then a 2/4 combo for 9k dmg, while dodging and making more clones. Then wham, shatter them. Hell most times after spamming 1 and then 2/4 combo the opponent is dead.

Mes is faceroll ez. So, i decided to roll an engie after that. 10 games once again, not knowing a thing. I lost 1.

Cmon turrets engies might actually be ezier than mesmers.

Only class i have found a high learning curve was an ele i rolled same day as the engie and mesmer.

I have only played ranger, thief and necro since beta. Mainly my ranger. But, of course i dont use LB. I use a/t and sw/d. I still get the qq saying im a trash meta bow ranger. I just lol.

But ya, i digress. Mes is faceroll easy

Serious do u need to copy and paste your reply in all memser thread. Spamming 1 on GS and 2/4 combo and you win 1v1 ans 2v1. This statment clearly shows that you dun play memser. If you win just by this 2 button/combo i think the player u going against is seriously a kitten. SOMEONE please banned hes account.

G’day mate. Why would my mesmer be on LB, with only 10 games. As for my total account, mate. 1005 rated matches played and 500 wins, solo que. I hit top 1000 ages ago. I’m not 10 yrs old and need to justify my existence by being top player of my class.
Ranking in this game is a joke at any rate. You see some ppl on LB with 20 games played and they top 20 and 3 days later after a few losses they drop out of top 1000. If/when ANET gets off its lazy butt and institute MMR rank in this game will mean something.

I don’t claim to be the best. The point is mesmer is and always will be faceroll easy. So, if a mediocre player as myself can faceroll on a mesmer 20 minutes after rolling it, then thats all that needs to be said, mate.

Ezmode mesmers are EZ.

If you were that, you would show up on the leaderboards.

Character ratings are not account ratings ~ if you claim to have been in the top 1000 (lol) then you should’ve appeared on that list, which you did not…

Well there,s the SS i have been playing forever. My highest win % in solo que was 54%. The highest rank i achieved was 997. You can ask the admin on the site why I’m not there. I personally don’t care. I and my guildies know where I was. At one point. Now I don"t care about LB. If i feel like quitting a match Ill just sit out and take the loss. If there is no teamwork, I just sit out.

When MMR is instituted and rank actually means something besides a, W or L…I might care again.

Off to play my mesmer and face stomp with a few buttons.

Last tol won by a team without a mesmer.

And you forget to say EVERY top team on both us and eu got AT LEAST 1 ele.

You also forget to say that checking the whole class setup on both us\eu top teams mesmer are less played than ele, engi, guard, thief, war.
