Where my team are some % scrubs on the leaderboard except me vs all top 100 their team. They lose every single 1v1, can’t cap points, rotate terribly. Fix MM anet.

There could be several reasons. First, their leaderboard ranking could have decayed off the top 1000 but their matchmaking rating will remain the same. So even if you look up the ranks of all nine other people in the match after it ends, it doesn’t necessarily mean anything. Decay is pretty fast now, so if someone on your team hasn’t queued in, say, three weeks, they’ll appear to be hundreds of ranks lower than their actual matchmaking rating.

Second, you could have been the highest-ranked player in the match, which means that your teammates will be ranked slightly lower than the other team, as it should be.

Third, you could be getting matches with volatile players. For example, some of the people on the other team could have very few matches played since the reset; when you played them, they could have been at rank 500 with four wins/no losses, and then a half-hour later they could be rank 65 with six wins/no losses. The same could happen with your teammates, especially where you get some inexperienced teammates who had a few lucky rounds and wind up in a match way out of their league.
