This is truly absurd
PvP Mystic Forge: You can now convert PvP Mystic Forge components into other components. This requires purchasing an Arcane Converter from any glory vendor. The conversion recipes are as follows:
25 Arcane Orbs + 1 Arcane Converter + 1 Arcane Crystal + 25 Arcane Powder = 11 Arcane Crystals
25 Arcane Crystals + 1 Arcane Converter + 1 Arcane Sliver + 25 Arcane Powder = 11 Arcane Slivers
25 Arcane Slivers + 1 Arcane Converter + 1 Arcane Orb + 25 Arcane Powder = 11 Arcane Orbs
maybe they added that just for you?

I…..I….I think I love you….
I have never gotten anything more than powder and orbs so I don’t have a sliver to use

Anyone have an idea on how to get some slivers?
Silvers are very rare, I’m rank 25 and I haven’t got that many of them. Supposedly the drop rate is highest from gold chest, when you salvage a more rare piece of equipment…
need to salvage rare gear. easier to get at lower ranks from gold/silver free tourny chests than from rabbit/deer chests
I’ve stayed at this party entirely too long

Didn’t you answer that in your previous post?
Turn 50 Orbs into 22 Crystals and use an extra 3 from your stash to make 11 slivers.
And that’s not really an excessive amount of Orbs, considering how junky most of the gear they make looks. I’ve easily destroyed twice that many since I capped out on 250 in my bank (but then I do salvage absolutely everything I get from a chest, since it’s not like I can’t just craft whatever armour I want for whatever class I want using those materials).

Ok, I am a little confused on this whole thing.
Right now all I have are Orbs and Powder. From what I was reading I need an additional component to turn it into something right?
Ah, I didn’t noticed that you needed to have 1 sliver already, in order to make more (well that seems kinda dumb), so I guess until you get 1 sliver you can’t create more slivers.
You buy Arcane Converters from the glory vendors for 1k glory.
Im rank 29 and have not seen a crystal or silver from chain opening chests in at least a month if not more and thats only buying gold … the drop rates are ludacris
It took me until rank 17 before I got my first sliver or crystal as well. I seriously thought I was bugged, but now I have teens of both.
Look at the date of the topic before posting peepz! After the 15th November patch, you can converter orbs into crystals and crystals into slivers:

Don’t worry too much, earlier ranks are pretty fast to get but soon enough you will find yourself with plenty of glory you won’t even need (40 to 41 is 45k glory without counting glory boosters and such), you’ll get your slivers eventually and you will even get tired of recycling spvp items and throwing bags away.
What I have found is that most often the gear that you want to keep from the chests because it looks good is the very gear you need to salvage to get slivers. May be a conundrum for most.
