This touched a new low for me. Apparently my team just gave up in the middle because there were two hambows. One guy sat out, and then convinced another to just camp base till the game ended.

We were 3v5. No wonder we lost. We may have lost anyway, but kitten it…what the hell?

Sometime people get really fed up and they just don’t want to deal with it anymore. You can have a bad day and so do the others.

you should of blocked off the emotes and targeting, cuz now we know who your shaming and this will be flaged

Anyways, you can report players that camp/afk at spawn as bots in the report section.

Double cele anything is likely to make people rage.

That is just one way see the problem. His way of doing thing may not be the perfect solution for everyone but do you suggest that he should come out and get kill over and over again only to get even more frustrated because he has to work up over something impossible for him, like trying to win an impossible game by yelling at everyone of his team mates are suck?

All I can see is that he’s wasting my time. I waited 5 minutes for that queue to pop.

P.S. Pre-mades should just be banned from unraked q.

I agree with ChoChoBo here, send a bot report and move on. Obviously I doubt those have any effect, but they sure make me feel a bit better.

I am seeing so many players giving up today.

I understand your problem but I don’t see the wrong doing of your team mate since it was already one side game. If you wish to keep playing that game then you should do so(that’s what I always did)

Anyway, you should be seeing less of this issue once the update come out with the Nerf to Longbow.

The general vibe I’m getting here is: “Oh, premade! What do you expect?”

Fair enough. But then for goodness sake, petition Anet to bring back solo q. Or ban pre-mades from unranked.

Seriously, don’t they feel ashamed of teaming up against soloers? I mean, ok. Anet is dumb – they get all excited and delusional at the thought of premades (who knows how their mind works?). But what about they players themselves? Get some self respect and go face other premades in ranked.

Today in skyhammer, we had a weird situation, where due to a DC the game became a 2v5 for a bit, then one guy came back and it was a 3v5. We had kind of forgotten, so we all (both teams) just sat calmly at point C and had a group therapy session about personal issues that had been happening to us while the points ticked away.

I will never forget how kind everyone was to me during this skyhammer therapy session.

Tough call honestly.

On the one hand it speaks to the horrible state of balance and current meta, or at the very least the frustration it brings.

On the other hand, if those people have such problems with those builds they should never queue for PvP in the first place. Suck it up or don’t play.

Well he isn’t really a teammate to be honest. He is more like a big pile of garbage blocking the alley and preventing access for an actual teammate. You know. One that actually walks out the gate at the start of the game and does…something.

Then this guy should just refuse to play the game if the balance is not up to his standards. You can’t play the game, choose to accept the rules and the current situation and then throw a hissy fit when you know what it’s like beforehand!

No, he gets 10 points for a decap and accepts his 500 rank points. 500 points he got quicker then if he where to delay the inevitable.

Unfortunately peoples time is valuable to them, more valuable than than the feelings of their 4 team mates they may never talk to again.

The reward for winning is fine,
But the reward for losing could be based on the personal points you acquire, encouraging you to keep playing until the end.

The matchmaking tries to diversify professions, and doesn’t seem to factor in their weight, not only their armour but how much a warrior benefits the team more than a ranger; or trait set-ups; shoutbow over a killshot; or amulet selected, glasscannon, bunker, condition etc.

Premades want to play too. If arena net are not supplying an alternative, ranked and unranked is hardly an option especially if you’re a bunch of premades on TS that are not familiar with PvP all to much would like an option to play unranked. But there is just simply no place for a premade to look for a competitive match or a play for people who want a casual game to go. If we all have access to both game modes how does that restrict casual / hardcore players ultimately. Rank plays no part as wherever you go it’ll will be in the bracket of ranked or unranked.
We NEED a tier system to separate people who are serious to those who are not, so if you are rank 80 you should be playing roughly around them. Currently
Its putting lvl 10 PvPers with lvl 80 PvPers amongst 2 options of play. There is just not a place in game for hardcore premades to go, ranked oh yeah and then it face rolls the solo Q team and people complain. Just simply does not work.

People are worrying about Queue times all the time and it limits arena nets possibility to integrate a new alternative. Take a risk!

Add an “afk” mechanic.
Stand still for 30s (in same area) is the same as a person unable to join game for 30s. The game will be treated as a 4v5, or in OP’s case, a 3v5.

OP’s point is not there needs to be cele balance or nerfs, but that there should be a system in place to help prevent bad sportsmanship (to make it a more general statement), which is a sentiment I can agree with.

The “Dishonorable” debuff honestly doesn’t seem to do enough, but that’s not really the issue anyway. League of Legends is a game which I don’t particularly enjoy but I do like the thought behind their “Honor” system, which allows players to basically thumbs-up fellow players for a variety of positive things (Friendly, Helpful, Honorable Opponent or Teamwork).

I don’t think the system from LoL would be directly applicable in GW2 PvP, but something like it could be used to rate other players in a post-match summary, which IMO is much-needed; being ejected after a match closes, unable to review the scores or properly read the match statistics, kind of sucks.
