It actually is. I was hating it last night but its good for these reasons (now the patch has started to settle):

1, The new map completely changes the bunker/roamer dynamic. It really is a huge change. And its fun…no….its INCREDIBLE! :P

2, The balance changes are resonably good. It moved things in the right direction. Bunker eles seem far more under control now (although they need to delay the orb spawn for first 10 seconds so ele isnt insanely op – currently can pick up orb before any other class can get there).

3, The removal of tickets was a good move

However, the bad side is this:

The matchmaking system doesnt do enough to keep pugs and premades apart. They need to seperate solo Q and premade Q. Just make the 8 team a 2 team and only let solo q people reg for it and require a premade for the other 2 team Q.

O and please introduce a random map generator.

Once this is done I really think things are good.

This patch: 7/10 for me. it really was some good changes but those things above are needed.

i approve this

dunno why we have a 3 round tourny still
make that a solo-queue and everything is fine – well at least way better^^
when team and solo queue are seperated a ladder could finnaly get in
the only positive about not havin a ladder yet is that it would be useless with mixed queues

and yeah new map is pretty cool and very dynamic

yeh its op but I think thats cos of bugs…RTL and mist form espcially.

I don’t get this, why does everybody hate the Elementalist? Every other class can also use their weapons movementskills while carrying the orb, I personally find especially Rangers a lot more annoying since they also can evade all the time, it is much harder to catch a ranger carrying the orb than it is catching an ele.

Coz it’s like the orb has been designed for ele : with rtl traited you can have 2 rtl + mist form + ether renewal (near 4 sec condition imunnity every 15 sec) + stability (cantrip) + perma vigor, there are no chances you will stop an ele

I main ele and I hope they nerf bunkers into the ground so eventually they will give us more global traits. nerf aoe, nerf healing, remove armor of earth, make 2 points of power reduce armor by 1, nerf knockbacks, make elemental summon on par with spirit summons.

then let’s give mesmers more defensive abilities

revert nerfs on thief

make mesmers and thieves immune to each other

nerf warrior condition removal

increase gaurdian base hp by 6000

reduce engineers base hp by 5000, remove tool kit, net shot to 20 sec cooldown

increase trap initial damage by 200% for rangers (scaling with condi damage opposed to power)

necros now immune to conditions, auto attack removes 2x boons, no longer has damaging abilities, increase base hp by 10,000

there, balance

I was having a great time in the new pvp map-which is awesome- and then I saw an ele rtl with the orb halfway up the stairs. For the love of god, ele’s (at least bunkerish ele’s)were the most OP’d class before this, but on the new map the situation is beyond ridiculous.
