Nvm, got misguided into thinking stronghold is already on the rotation, when it’s not yet up.

You do know unranked will be stronghold only today?

I know and i played. 4 games no stronghold, one hour wasted. Now what am i to do? play additional hours when i care only about the stronghold? Or just leave each time stronghold is not rolled. One day and random chance for it? Travesty.

This is a complaint in ignorance.

Someone obviously didnt read the stronghold notes… Just join unranked arena. Very controlled and doesnt even affect normal pvp (ie ranked, who play unranked anyway…).

Uhm.. that is because the Q for stronghold is just starting in 11 hours? It is not up yet. Lol.

So leaving an unranked game, and sentencing my team in there for a loss is ok because it’s unraked (yes, someone did read the notes and knows full well stronghold is in unranked).

If you people fail to see what’s wrong with testing new content gated behind a RNG chance to hop on it and being presented with choice of either wasting your time on games you do not wish to participate in or giving 4 other ppl who wound up with you the middle finger and leaving the match, then we’re living in two different worlds.

Vote for it. Could be wrong and they mean that it will be the only choice but by saying featured and vote, I am not working under that assumption. So there is a chance it won’t be selected. I am looking forward to the test but it sounds like people could vote for other maps and then with the RNG it might no be the map that is run. Find out later. Good hunting!

Are you sure about that? In ready-up, they said Stronghold was available from 12pm on Tuesday, Pacific Time (3h from now). That would be 21h in Paris and 20h in London. So you might want to be there one hour earlier than you thought.

The twitch stream, however, starts at 1pm Pacific Time, and goes on for 23h.

I think I’ve read or heard somewhere that Stronghold would be the only map in the rotation. If it’s not, however, I hope they at least put it in every dice roll, because who in their right mind would want to play anything else.

Stronghold being alone in the rotation would make more sense. They want to test this game mode, so they probably want to make sure that everyone who wants to play it can.

this line from the blogpost implies that stronghold will be the only map in the unranked que:

Conquest matches can still be played in Ranked.

As for the voting thing, it will be the same as the regular voting with a single choice (you can choose it or not choose anything, which can be done in normal queing)

So UNRANKED queue will be exclusively stronghold later? Thats a step in the right direction….

For a second i thought they were gonna add it to the rotation so we have PUG v PREMADE AND THREE game modes in ONE queue..(which is totally kittened)

At least people will know what they are queuing for and tryhard it (builds/comps based on stronghold alone)….
