I want to throw/leave games until I reach 1 skill rating to be the worst gw2 player in the history. is it allowed or it will get me banned? Also theres a lot of games I just leave because my team end ups stomping enemy team even in a 4v5 so to make sure I lose, I have to leave the match.

So Im just wondering if its allowed as long as its not too obvious because technically I could just be really bad and not actually throwing but I am throwing for real if you see what I’m saying.

Im currently at 700 something rating and I was 1800 something last season but I threw my placement matches ( 0-10) and landed 1200, so now Im deranking from there.

Going for the pink llama? I may not totally agree with your tactics, but i can respect the play.

Yeah, its allowed. Arenanet can’t force you to finish a game.

According to rumors your bronze badge will be replaced through a poop icon if you reach 1 rating.

You can tank it to sub-700 and then just use decay system to do the work for you.

It is match manipulation…… ANET cannot force you to finish matches, but they punish you for abusing it….

Right click a name in pvp, click “report” and notice there’s a reason “match manipulation”. That is exactly what you described.

In theory it should be a minor offense that would just get you some warning or temp bans, but perma bans are not out of the question if you screw too many players over (enough to force anet to take action).

I honestly believe the Report function was written as an April Fool’s Joke by ANET devs to troll players and then was never removed. Each time someone reports a player a bell rings in ANET’s offices and the DEVs giggle like school girls.

It only works when the person in question is being reported for political opinions that differ from the kitten Anet believes. Funny how that works.

How to tank to 1 SR without it being a match manipulation:
Step 1) Create a new class you haven’t played before or just take the one you know the least about.
Step 2) Grab one of those stock PvP builds or experiment on your own.
Step 3) Play.

I am amazed at the way people find to lose everyday. Today I had someone in my group get killed by Skyhammer the 3 times it went off during the game and was surprised by it each time.

didn’t they remove the decay thing? like you cant lose 100 SR per game anymore like u could in previous season with decay

I honestly don’t know actually. I know that while you have decay, even if you loose, you’ll gain rating back.
My post, although possible in theory, was meant more as a joke.
