this is what they meant by, everyone can get their legendary back item, just that it will take more seasons.
everyone will graduate from amber division eventually.
if they can’t graduate from emerald, they will just have to wait for the next season.

With that said how many seasons are there
With each season lasting 8 weeks + 2 weeks in between, probably 5 per year.
Balance team is a bunch of clowns, hurting the game to the full extent of their abilities.

Crossing into a more advanced division will earn you League Tokens. These tokens can be exchanged for the first level of wings, and additional tokens can be exchanged to upgrade your wings to progressively more awesome levels. In the future, new items will be added that can be purchased for League Tokens. The newest items will always be offered at a discount, so make sure to earn your glorious wings while they’re the hot new item in PvP leagues.
Does that mean they will add new items each season and raise the price of actuals wings the next season ?

If they are removing the achievements after a year then its not technically true that everyone will get it eventually
In order to complete the crossing division achievements you need to reach ruby division at least twice out of 4 seasons to cross a total of 10 divisions
Also for the league elite achievement for Year 2+ is it crossing 2+ divisions in a single season or can it be grinded overall? (Such as crossing 1 division one season and then crossing another another season)?

tier 2+ achievements are for a single season, according to their descriptions. So yeah, not many people are going to get those unless the league advancement system gets fixed.

I would definitely like a bit more clarification on this, Evan. Does this mean that we will only be able to retain progress on these achievements for this year? Are there plans to reset progress each year, for instance, or to introduce different Legendary backpieces each year?
If this is something we can slowly continue to work towards (I dunno about you, but I can’t see myself going from Amber to Diamond in a year…) for as long as the game exists, then I’m happy to keep participating, but if I only have a year before everything is wiped, then I’m not going to bother continuing. I’m plowing an awful lot of hours into this, time that I could be spending on HoT, raids and other achievements/collections.
So, is the backpiece no longer available after 1 year or what’s going on?
