I have 4 accounts as u see from attachment. 2 of them are none HoT accounts and manage to make them Diamond. My main account the stronger one can’t get away from Ruby.
Usually need a pip to diamond ans then 5-6 looses continuously.
Then again the same. The other 3 had to fight with teams that were really bad and many of them had afkers or rage leavers.
Is like u target this account and u say that u won’t upgrade anymore.
I have my doubts that they are many people ( expect ESL player maybe ) have so much experience as me . U need to take my opinion seriously . The divisions as they are now are not fair. In solo part at least cause i am not use to play Teamed. Be Diamond or legendary means that u had luck be with good team mates and very very bad opponents . Of course they are exceptions . Every rule does.
Do something i don’t care what but do something . When loose like this ur Rage is so big that u want to stick ur hand in monitor and grab the troll – afker guy and hit him on his desk .
In Ruby most of the people don’t deserve be ruby. Amber or emerald maybe.

Builds are another problem. My 2 no HoT accounts as Guard i still play Bunker.
Most of them still difficult to kill me. But this kittening skill block is unacceptable.
Die cause the manage to bring all ur skills to cc is ok but to can’t use anyskill for 6-7 sec is disgusting.
I will not say nerf this or nerf that. I only say give the other classes more viable builds to defend this .
I said before this dps fest is to much and if had an 1 sec lag spike u are dead.
Dps is to strong and too fast. This make pvp less strategic. Lern 2-3 skill on a meta build that dps strong makes lesser players look like heroes. Why?

So they get “carried” by good players while a long term vet who didn’t pvp lots gets punished with bad players on their team

Literally weeks ago had 3 thieves on my team with me on mes and another on ele. We were winning team fights with all thieves. Needless to say there was 1 player on the other team who was VERY talented. I felt REALLY bad for them because there was nothing he could do.

You have barely a winrate of 50% on your main acc while playing a strange build…

mm is defintly bad but I wouldn’t blame mm for you being stucked in ruby ,tho

Pretty much this … and @Ajax, I believe he was agreeing with your post. New players have higher MMR than vets, that’s is If you played during S1 or ant season before. So the MMR is fAulty because any of the following could/can happen 10 vs 1 5 vs 5 and 1 vs 10. And trust me I have a 30% winrate myself and it’s was HELL to get out of ruby.

Oh and last season my main ended Diamond 5 pip before change div.
And my win rate is from 3 years in almost 9000 ranked games . What about u?
And why my build is strange? Cause not meta? Have u tried? And that is what i am truing to say : bring more viable builds! The other 2 accounts win rate in the years i play (2,5) is lower 50%. and yet are diamonds and all with no meta builds .

You are wrong of course!!! The differece between Ruby and Diamond is huge Really bad players stack on ruby!
The games in diamond are not perfect but are far more better than in Ruby. The other 3 accounts have bad win rate in the last 3 years cause 1 was my wife which was WvW player and the others my son’s. the 3rd i both for my daughter but she played a little .
And u mister tell my how many ranked played and all ur gw2 life? (with proofs not just talking) Not only a season.
Stop talking about win rate per season.

I’ve really noticed no difference between diamond and ruby in the quality of players. People still make the same mistakes and just as frequently.

We all know that the current matchmaking favours players once they have won a lot and punishes those who started to lose a lot. This is known since the second week of this season. still, this matchmaking u mention, doesn’t explain the different treatment on various accounts of the same player. there’s got to be more than this. cant always be on a winning raw on one account and on a losing one on another. by “same player” we r accepting a similar playstyle and builds, to same proffesions.

well one of your problems is that you think win rate and lifetime win rate have anything to do with your mmr.

if u spent, those games playing in your ruby account you’l be in legendary already.

Wrong! I did that 1st season!

This season the all 4 accounts were ruby in 2 days
The diamond part took me 2-3 days on 2 and the other i just did the daily 3.
And i was always keep play with main THAT IS WHY I AM SO FURIOUS.
Maybe lifetime mmr and season mmr is different but that doesn’t mean is fair.
And all u above singing about i am wrong where did u manage to go? And all of these solo? And u didn’t took advance the system ? As 1 guy said above?
