Full Groups and brackets are now live! As a guide, if you are playing in one of these groups you should expect to participate on the following days:

• Group A: Saturday, Sept 20th
• Group B: Sunday, Sept 21st
• Group C: Saturday, Oct 4th
• Group D: Sunday, Oct 5th

As a notice to teams that may be inconvenienced by these dates, we apologize in advance. We tried to be as accommodating as possible when it came to play dates, but due to concerns with bracket balancing and the risk of our seeding system being compromised, we could not accommodate every team’s full availability.

Seeding Procedure

Due to raised concerns with our seeding procedures during ToL2, we are putting it fully out in the open in regards to how we have decided to seed the event. Team’s dates and bracket spots were chosen based on a few factors:

• Prelisted Weekend: Teams were placed in the appropriate weekend that they listed when initially signing up for the event. Mistpedia made a few alterations to weekends that teams would be playing on in the event of not having spaces in the originally preferred weekend and in the case of a single weekend having too many high rated teams to ensure the balance was as even as we could possibly make it. Ultimately however, this part of team separation was at the mercy of team’s listed dates.
• MP ELO: Teams with pre-established MP ELO ratings of at least 3/5 members were seeded above other teams in the order of average team ELO. Due to us not receiving any additional tournament information after ToL2, this only included teams/players that played in the ToL2 finals. This system was also a part of what DPS used to seed the NA qualifiers. MP will continue to log MP ELO during the qualifiers and it will be used to fully seed the EU finals.
• Average Peak LB Rating: Any teams with no pre-standing ELO ratings were seeded below those with pre-standing ELO ratings using the team’s average peak team leaderboard rating. Data for this part of the seeds was taken from gwshack. Any teams with no previous record in the top 1000 were given a random position below those teams which had an average under 1000.

We understand teams may not agree with these methods of seeding, but these were in our opinion one of the fairer and least biased methods for determining player positions on brackets as it relies solely on the data listed above. Mistpedia made no direct changes in the seeds beyond those listed above. If you have ideas on ways to improve our methods of seeding for future events, feedback may always be sent to events@mistpedia.net.

FOR SPECTATORS: Qualifier Live Streams will be hosted on my twitch channel. The streams will begin at approximately Noon EDT / 9AM PDT / 18 CEST and will run for about 3-4 hours. One Ro8 game and both of the qualifying rounds will be streamed during the qualifiers. The Grand finals will be streamed to the GW2 Official Twitch and that stream will also begin at 9AM PDT // Noon EDT // 18 CEST

FOR PLAYERS: Server Information is being EMAILED to your captains, please ensure they check their inboxes before the date of scheduled play so there is no confusion on the day of. As an additional reminder, teams are ultimately responsible for being in the correct arenas at the correct time until the Ro8 of the qualifiers. If you do not join before the posted time admins will have full rights to disqualify your team from the event.

For all four qualifiers, the earliest start time will be at 10AM EDT or 16 CEST
If teams are familiar with the procedures of how the ToL2 qualifiers were run, this will be conducted in the exact same manor. An easier to read bracket will be included in the email being sent to teams which should clarify the meaning of match numbers if teams are not able to identify these for themselves

QUALIFIERS

RO32

• Matches #1-#4: 10AM EDT // 16 CEST
• Matches #5-#8: 10:20AM EDT // 16:20 CEST
• Matches #9-#12: 10:40AM EDT // 16:40 CEST
• Matches #13-#16: 11AM EDT // 17:00 CEST

RO16

• Matches #17-#20: 11:20AM EDT // 17:20 CEST
• Matches #21-#24: 11:40AM EDT // 17:40 CEST

RO8 AND ONWARD

• If your team makes it past the round of 16, administrators will give you instructions on how to procede. From the round of eight onward your team may be shown on the live stream. Streaming of matches is allowed for the Ro32 and 16 but past this is forbidden.

FINALS

• More information will be coming as we draw close to the event. Finals play and stream will begin at 12PM EDT // 18 CEST

The full rosters for all teams may be viewed via the above link. They are separated by qualifier so you can see exactly who you will be up against. If there is a member marked in dark red, this means this player is currently ineligible to play for the team as he/she has either re-listed to another team or there is an issue with his/her account that needs to be resolved. Captains have been contacted by email in these cases.

As a reminder to all teams, you have until 24 hours before your event’s first round starts to request any changes. Absolutely no changes will be accepted past the 24 hour mark, regardless of circumstances unless it proves to be a mistake on Mistpedia’s end. So for teams playing in Group A, you have until Friday at 10AM EDT to submit any requests, Group B has until Saturday at 10AM to request any changes, etc. Changes may be requested via this form.

Just updated the most recent changes, any teams marked fully in red have pulled out of the event. Please note that Group A has until this post is about 8 hours old (Specifically until 16 CEST) to process any changes they need, if our timestamp reads the request as being past that point it will be denied.
