He could have at least responded to the email. Lack of communication and feedback is very unprofessional.

Tell me about that, we still did not recieve the money from Mistpedia Invitational, which was held on 2 March 2014. Thats how professional and responsible everything works in esports business i guess..

Other esports events (most ESL stuff like IEM) take 6-12 months to get the prize money where it belongs, fortunately it is pretty fast in gw2 for comparison, because most prizes are just gems/ingame stuff.

@OP, We have your information, as stated in the email that was sent to all teams, so long as you replied with your roster you are fine.

@Rezz, the reason I haven’t been replying to my emails is because I already sent an email to all EU captains with all the information I have available in addition to the message that it was being worked on, making it rather pointless to reply with the same information once again. Mark also posted some time ago with this information on another thread. I am also somewhat busy with Semester finals at the moment, and as such I do not have a lot of free time to work on GW2 projects, let alone play the game. We have all rosters confirmed now and that was the only thing holding it back on MP’s end. If I get an opportunity tonight Ill see if I can send out one more email to NA teams as well.

@Maylo Im almost positive Sireph had sent that out, if we were missing your team’s information that may have been why but Ill check with him on that.

We have sent out all emails to prize winners who have choices between prizes. Once the last of those are returned, we will process distribution of prizes to everybody.

Please be patient for just a little bit longer. We haven’t forgotten about you, I promise.

That’s fine and I figured that was the issue. Thing is, you have to remember some of the leaders/captains/whomever may not even check their emails or forget to. Waiting on one person to respond would hold you guys back for a while, which is annoying for everyone else. Also maybe you should send those who may forget to check their email, something in game to remind them.

I didn´t receive any mail from anet so far, got #3 in tol, not sure if i can choose with that between anything tho. Waiting for tol reward aswell as the last 2 esl weekly wins.

I’m a team captain. I was never emailed by anyone from Anet or Mistpedia. My team won the first round so I believe we should get llama finishers? Are emails still in work for NA? My team is getting anxious that it’s taking so long so I thought I would check.

Exactly.
Most people just fail horrendously, when it comes to reading their e-Mails.
Therefore the stuff that wants to become a juggernaut kind of soon is doing nothing but rotting in my bank, which sucks. Really. Hard.

Day after day I come online with some sort of hope, which then is being crushed invariantly, creating more sadness. My reaction to that is facerolling even more people, which then again creates more suffering, which at this point is good …

Last I heard, it’s being all done at once, and some people haven’t responded as to what rewards they will be choosing.

Deadlines work pretty well, I hear… but yeah, nobody’s received their phat lewts yet.

Quite sad when those who won precursors in the give away received theirs first over those participating in the tourney. Some people I know are so fed up they don’t even want their rewards/legends anymore. Shouldn’t have to wait on other peoples faults for other teams to receive their rewards.

We received a few days ago an e-mail to choose our rewards (I mean for the teams who have to choose between leg/prec/gift) so I don’t think that is going to be long.

The results of the ToL tournament were decided over 2 weeks ago. Nobody’s complaining about A-Net’s ability to deal players ‘free stuff’*, rather, the presumed A-Net decision to let certain people jam things up by not responding to the emails. It’s possible that these same certain players could even be motivated by other’s frustration and purposefully not respond to the emails. This is the Internet :P.

I suggest a change next time. I’d do the following:

1. Two days after the event: Anyone who has submitted their reward choices should get the rewards right away. You do not need to wait for a full team to respond. Send to those who have responded.
2. Two weeks after the event: Last call for rewards. If anyone hasn’t submitted their reward choice by that date, it is forfeit.

well honestly, just make a item recipe thingy similar to ascended recipes, just for precursors and legendaries.

Item must obviously be admin only.
Then all you need to do is send them a mail, which is no prob since you got their game account name, even their street address IRL.

Hello, it has been a month now that the ToL is over and we still haven’t receive the rewards !
I mean, there are new weapons with that event, do we have any chance to get our rewards during the 1 ticket for a phoenix skin ?
Because yea my team is still waiting for that legendary gift, the llama finisher and the black lion ticket that we were supposed to get after the tol.

I’ve asked blu last time he said that Anet was processing to give rewards, it could take 2 weeks something but the double is not acceptable.

Me and my team got even more bored, so nope. I am already playing like 90% less than before, and only regular balance patches, new game modes or proper ladder system with rewards can change it..

I have not received any rewards yet for ToL (team elusive). Furthermore, my team has also not received gems from mistpedia which took place about 2 months ago, and according to blu, the request was sent a long time ago so this is not due to the tournament organizers.

I just had a quick glance at the spreadsheet. Pretty sure your team’s names are correct.
