Tomes of Knowledge
So once upon a time, I loved getting these.
But now i have 10 lvl 80 characters and over 400 tomes of knowledge. Is there any use for these besides leveling a character?
Can we get mastery experience from them please???
Not sure if this is the right forum, but since i get them all from PVP reward track i figure you all know what i’m talking about.

More stuff i don’t need.
I think we should be able to get exp on mastery, not a whole lvl, but maybe a set value or something like 5%-10% of a mastery lvl…

But wouldnt that defeat the point of masteries? They are supposed to be the pve progression instead of better gear. So i dont think spvp (or WvW) should improve masteries.

The Tome of Knowledge is an item that allows you to gain levels in PVE but is most commonly acquired in PVP. Is it that far of a stretch to continue that logic from levels to masteries?

Then why would you care about PvE masteries that have zero impact on PvP games? Bragging rights?

Well the levels are also for WvW, while masteries are pve only?
I used to play pve alot, but now it’s mostly pvp. I still go back to play new zones, but at the amount I play, it’ll take forever to finish my glider mastery…
You would still need to go into pve to get the mastery points. You would just be able to get exp from pvp. You can’t finish the mastery unless you have the points. So you wouldn’t be totally bailing on pve, you’d just be able to do the grindy part in pvp…

So then the only thing I can do with my tomes of knowledge is ping them in map chat to impress the noobs in the pvp lobby? Lame
Is it really that detrimental to pve?

4 lvl 20 tickets for 1 lvl 80 booster

This is probably the most useful thing you can do with Tomes.
1) Make a throwaway character.
2) Do noob mission.
3) Eat 8 Tomes.
4) Do 1st quest chain.
5) Get BL key + loot bags.
6) Delete character.
7) Have RNGsus kick you in the junk. Yay boosts =_=;
8) Repeat; reset on Thursday.

these stacks need a consume all button, i have near 2k of these things and i wont double click them all which is why i have 1/2 a bank slot holding them.
