I just need to share this lol

So yesterday we had some tPvP with our guild, and we getting a match against a team made by 3 warriors, a mesmer and an engi. We are 2 guardians, a thief, a mesmer and a necro. I’m like “we are screwed up guys”.

The match starts, me and the other girl in the team going to the keep. She’s guardian, I’m necro. We are the most inexperienced in the team and I’m not in my common role, because we already have 2 guardians.

In the next second I see 3 huge norn warriors with their big hammers coming for our keep and I start to scream on Ts for help. The thief says “hold on I’m coming”. I’m like paniiiic “It’s gonna hurt, hurry up hurry up… No wait.” Then I start to count: “One dead warrior. Two dead warriors. The last one is running away.” The thief: “got him”.

One minute later they three are back. This time I don’t even bother to shout for help. We wipe the floor with them, me with my pretty new necro and she with her bunker build guardian. So much fun!

Okay, if you’re not familiar with warrior in PvP why you play it? All you do is to give bad name to warriors, like a braindead facerolling noskill profession. An experienced warrior would kill us both for seconds I’m sure. And we killed all 3 of them! 3 kitten . Srsly…

Anyway, it’s one of the reasons I love PvP so much. You never know what to expect.

well, it is very possible.

if they have heard how overpowered warriors are at the moment perhaps they were trying out to see how well they would perform.

perhaps they need more practice?

i dun play a hammer warrior so i dun know. plus i only play in hotjoins 8 vs 8 anyway.

So, if I assume that somebody started their PvP experience and is obviously not well rounded in it…would you expect him to win? With any profession? Guess not. I am PvP lvl 10 and get usually teamed up (solo) with people on in their 40s+ whom are just elitists spamming kitten on chat when something doesnt end up well. My win-lose percentage is 50% and I do stupid stuff like “running into a ranger that sets up his defense on a point I cant win over” or perhaps asking myself “what does it mean when he says go far” …I guess I should stop playing?

Also, congrats – elitist lvl 100 achievement unlocked, you gained a personified title “omg pwnd noob” and these fine gloves with bright-glowing middlefingers.

i actually love warriors on enemy team, i play dp/ thief so gee gee for them

In my opinion all that was needed to fix the warrior was to move UF and nerf the heal signet slightly. Instead warriors get nerfed all across the board. No big deal Engi’s and Thieves are looking real nice after the dec 10th patch.

Actually 2 of the guys were higher ranks than us. That’s why I decided they’re just new warriors, not new players.

thats a fun build Demios Tel Arin. I’ve run it real tanky with good utility on the fast weapon swap.

3. Raw egg
4. Guild Wars 2 HULKBEAST EDITION You’ll see a 6th utility on your warrior’s bar in the shape of a big red button.

The rebull, egg, and oyster are just a snack.

Have you actually read the Thief patch notes? We’re being nerfed to kitten under the guise of a “33% buff for all Thief builds!” despite being mathematically proven false. Don’t be surprise if teams start dropping Thief from their comps.

This isn’t much of a nerf.. Hammer damage was too high. It is effective in team fights if it hits for 50% less damage, let alone 20% (on 2 skills). As for UF move this is also positive.. Burst mastery turns our class mechanic into by far the easiest in the game (especially with passive adrenaline gain).

Warriors should be compelled to spec into strength to 1v1 at top tier. Until this is achieved the issue of faceroll low skill cap builds will resume.

Also healing signet doesn’t need a nerf, cleansing ire needs to stop us gaining adrenaline on hit.
