Elementalist.

hmm easy kill its in the in t3 section as you can see… and im talk from my personal experience as mostly a warrior and a guardian. Maybe my list suks from another point of view/class

Warrior BN Signet regen and cooldown on stuns/stunduration

Thief BN Get rid of this infinite evasion with the even more ridiculous disengage, boonstealing and whatnot

T2
Ranger LN+LB Nerf AI dependence, buff petcontrol and non condi damage.

Guardian

Necro LN Dhuumfire They are ok in tpvp, you can burst them and they are susceptible to CC. Maybe get rid of the toughness on condi amulets. Power is supposed to counter condi and vice versa. Now its just condi killing power.

Engi

T3
Elementalist MB Reduce a few cooldowns, maybe higher base health. Will be ok if S/D thiefs and condi kitten gets balanced.

Mesmer Freekill atm, but only due to the meta. Will be ok if S/D thiefs and condi kitten gets balanced.

I assume you`re using S/? ele for this list.
How about making a list where all weapons count, not just one set.
S/F slight buff needed.
D/D big buff.
Staff needs a nuke.

Celestial staff ele op if the team is PERFECTLY organized. Dem combofields, and bleeds upto 120…. While autoattack crits good enough.

But at the skill level represented in this game atm its UP. But the theorycraftable power it has makes buffing dangerous.

you are a bit shortsighted mate. S/D thieves are op IF you are a noob but anyway… Thieves are being forced to play S/D because all other weapon sets have been previously nerfed to the ground, thieves have no choice.
in 3 weeks time the S/D weapon set WILL be nerfed! It is official. After that patch thieves will be nice little loot bags walking around wvwvw and free glory in spvp. There will be no weapon set left for them to play.

thanks to ppl that are to lazy to l2p and cry rivers of tears in the forum, thieves are the most nerfed profession since beta. In 3 weeks all you little wines will be celebrating the death of the thief profession. I wondering which profession will be your next victim…

Problem with this tier list is you are listing professions when the things that you’re really listing are meta builds. When you put Necromancer in tier 1, we all know it is a single build type – Dhuumfire condi Necros. That is the case for all the classes, you are only going to consider their most common builds within the current meta.

Why is that a problem? Because then you aren’t looking at the full picture of balance. Let’s say you nerf necros by nerfing some of their condition spam – you’ve just nerfed the entire class, because that is a majority of their strength; using conditions. So now you have an entire class that was already not considered viable, and then nerfed it to lower a single build. Same thing for every single class, you have to make sure to target the right things, because everything is interconnected.

I rarely lose to a S/D thief with any of the professions I play because I know how to counter them.

about top teams, I’m sure every one here plays against them all the time! Not to mention that ALL S/D thieves are pro players!…

only a very small percentage of thieves are actually good, the majority are button spammers, there is nothing easyer to counter than a button spammer. If you can’t do it, I feel sorry for you.
