I understand that I am not the best player out there and will probably never break too far into the top 1000, although I’d like to think I’m pretty well above average in the 90-95th percentile. That being said; I have a real gripe with the match making system. My friends and I have hundred of games under our belts, with win percentages varying from 55-60%.

We queued up for a tourney earlier, as always, and get thrown against a group I recognize. A group that is probably ranked the same as we are and are a premade of level 30-50 players. Great! We’re in for a fantastic match!

Until we realize; the two pugs placed with us were brand new players, with ranks of TWO (2), and FOUR (4).

How can they POSSIBLY be making it into ranked matches with level 50s in the 90th percentile!??!

Needless to say, we obviously lost the extremely frustrating match.

ArenaNet, please listen carefully:

Your competitive players would MUCH RATHER wait a little bit longer to be placed with competent players in tournaments than to have jacknjill placed in our parties to start the match immediately. There is nothing more of a buzzkill than having a winstreak ruined against a beatable team due to teammates placed with you that had NO BUSINESS being there.

Please reconsider the way matches are built.

If you watched the last state of the game, searched the forums or even read the main website you’d realize this is something arenanet are already looking at and say they have a fix for whenever the next patch is, probably on the 11th or the patch at the end of the month.

perhaps these we not brand new players but rather very good players who log into a twink account for playing soloqueue ?

I mean if you as a team of rank 30-50 players ( although rank does not mean skill ) lose to a team of rank 2 /& 4 players its not only the game that made a mistake ?

one of the biggest problems is that people dont see their MMR, they see only SPvP rank, which is almost meaningless… then they tend to judge by rank and dont count with invisible MMR which is used in MM… well, one of the things Anet totally messed up… lets hope for a change in new reward system, if it will ever come…
