What’s the deal?
FIx the kitten system. This is impossible to play more like this.
Getting a team full of nubs to play against premade. + Classes setup is just crazy. Get a full team of bunkers. Or full team of Dps. or 2-3 same classes team. simply bad class setup like 60-70% of the time you solo que.

You complain alot don’t you?
It’s impossible for the system to recognize who’s a dps or who’s a bunker, it’s up to the people in the team to talk up a strategy and decide who should bunker or dps. In the end this problem is in the community for never talking any strategy before the match. You can’t pin this one on anet, sorry.
And they already said soloqueue-only is coming “down the pipe”, why keep kittening about it?

Because is annoying when you want to play have to deal with this problem above.

Today on 7 matches played atleast 3-4 of them were afkers in team.
This match just played we were in 3.

Yes I complain, when there is to complain about. Is something wrong with it?

The problem isn’t the system, it’s the players.

For me I consider sPvP my arcade game in GW2, I can maybe test some builds (not greatly), and can have some relaxed playtime without caring. If I want to TPvP however, that’s where I get my team together and face strong competition, that is, after all, the point.

Players can’t seem to understand that for pre-made 5v5 teams, this is as good as it gets for us, and honestly… Why do people even pug for tournaments?

It’s designed with rating in mind, it’s designed for teams to duke it out, so why do players insist on attending as Pugs?

You don’t want to get rolled in Tournament PvP? Just please stop crying and go kitten kitten in the middle in your sPvP games. Make some friends (that’s what you do in MMOs), form a team, and then play.

If you insist on playing a heavy co-ordinated team game with complete randoms, then please at least, stop crying your eyes out like you really expected any different result.

Casual Pugs and gamers can play sPvP, leave tPvP to the teams and organized players more interested in competition.

That’s not an insult, that’s the way the game is formed. It’s like PvE, if you don’t want to learn boss tactics that’s fine, but don’t complain if you cannot be successful in Raiding (talking other MMOs here).

Your point is such a political answer….. That in end of the line doesn’t tell or solve anything.

Simple as that. There is 1 thing to do in “pvp world” Go tourny…
SImple as that… If there would be a open world for us… Like WvW has would be a different story.
You could go tourny only when full team of friends is there, but like this you are “forced” to go tourny if you want to do something xD because is THE only thing to do in “pvp world”
I have no idea why is this game so not evolving for pvp…
+ They took paid tournyes and Gems rewards…

Another point is that there is no way of making money or gems in pvp.
A pve-er when comes to pvp has more ( skins, dyes, itd…) then a pvper…
Now when the custum arenas will be out in the gem shop.
Only pve-ers will be able to buy private arenas.

Second point is that A-Net themselves try hard to get this game as much enjoyable as they can, for casual-players. To enjoy this game as a casual player, there is a proper soloQ required, which is at the moment not the case (though A-Net stated there will be some updates coming this month for this issue).

Third point: ppl should be able to play competitive without a team. The best soloQuers in the world will never reach top100 for a consistent time because they will sooner or later face a premade or get matched with r1 ppl together.

There are many other facts I can lay on the table, but I refuse to write a wall, as everything is covered allrdy in other threads.

So there is no wonder why ppl complain about the lack of proper content.

Anet has aknowledged this issue already. Perhaps in the not too distant future they will address it.

You will soon end up playing alone in empty maps if people stop playing pugs..And i mean really soon….

On another topic now,i saw yesterday the towerdivetv tournament..Had like 300-400 viewers as much as i watch it….Do you know dear team player how much viewers LoL have at tournaments?Do you know whats the more successfull game nowdays?Do you know how many active players LoL has?Do you know that LoL has soloq?

I know it’s a political answer, but it’s the only answer you’re gonna get for now, since A.net never gives precise ETAs on features unless they’re sure it’s going to be live (like they’re doing with 11th June patch)

I also would love to have a solo queue (since I’ve been without a fixed team for like 2 months now) and I’m ruining my rating just to keep in shape and not get rusty, but for now we soloers have to buck it up and endure it till they release solo queue/leaderboards

I know it’s frustrating, but there is nothing we can do and no amount of whining/making new topics will change it :S

Btw, you can make money from pvp by creating dyes, it’s not a lot and you have to be lucky with the mystic toilet, but it’s better than nothing :P (since you don’t need glory for anything else…)

Wait for tomorrow and see what the patch brings

I know about dyes ye :P I make them since october november but the profit is very bad. Idk like 4-10g in all this months, even less.That’s what a lv 80 can do in a couple of hours.
I liked the gem reward back in days.

I hope they will make custom arenas possible to buy with glory. Because if they will be purchasable only with gems…. you see the point..

You realize that the casual playerbase, which is playing soloQ, contains about 95% of the whole community? Imagine they would stop playing the game, you’d have to wait about 10 mins to get a q-pop. Funny, isn’t it.
