As title. Could be a mail, could be an on-screen message appearing momentarily, could be a bright gold unfilterable message in the chat window. Notify players in-game when sign-ups open and close, when streams go live, when tournament results are out.

If there is an tick box on the ‘General Command’’ to diactivate it , then fine :P

I belive they can do the same for their PvE bosses too , rather than using a ‘’3rd party – timer bosses addon :P’’ (so PvE ppl dont moan that PvP get all the cookies :P)

Edit: If there are still ’’PvE’’ cookies’’ to lure them , while there wont be much spam about anything else > they might leave it ’’on’’

You know that hero statue that has Pax winners + shoutcasters tucked away in the corner?

Take that concept, make it a message board. Put it right in the middle of the main area of the map. Have upcoming tournaments posted. Have winners of the past weekly 2v2/3v3/5v5 esl, mistpedia, community tournaments and whatever on there.

It wouldn’t be hard. Minimal time to update the board. Only question is if it requires client patching to update it.
