Guild Wars 2

Like many others I don’t enjoy hot join pvp. 8v8 and the whole zerg or be zerged deal is not fun for me. To counter this I have been doing free tpvp. When I first started I would only see premades in the 3rd round but now I cant get past round 1 w/o having to fight a premade. I understand premades have to get tickets but I wish anet would somehow separate premades/hardcore from people that want to tpvp but not commit to a pvp guild/premade. Either have an option for hot join to be 5v5 or separate premades from pugs because its not fun or challenging for either group. I love gw2 pvp and do not want to give it up but it seems like a dead end.

It has been suggested many times, that it should be seperated. That’s how ArenaNet fealt also in GW1, but seems like they changed their minds in GW2 and now they think that random pug teams vs premade is ok.

Too bad, I think they were correct the first time.

Yeah i guess 90% of the playerbase suggesting the same thing isnt enough to make them change it. Bummer.

premades vsing pugs is just kitten i dont care what pvp mmo youve played pugs vs premade = one sided match = not fun unless you get lucky and vs that nooby premade with a group of some skilled pug players but even then the match is really close. no pvp game i have played had premades vsing pugs and the one i did that allowed that is now dead after only a year bloodline champions if you havent heard of it. lol dont allow premade vs pug neither do hon i dont even think wow does but i never played wow because its the childs version of pornography

Ever since my very first tourney I knew this was about to be a problem. i even posted it on day one of the free tourneys in another forum that anet should expect incoming complaints on this premades vs pugs. As I seen it in rift, and I seen it in gw1. The outcome is almost predecided but you still have a chance if your entire team somehow tends to work together well on the first matchup, which in gw1 they had ten or 15 matches to work together and get used to eachothers play style before going into ta, and even then some people would leave the teams upon the entrance to ta. Also stated conquest wasn’t the right route to take over a year ago.
