Guild Wars 2

To start, i love this game compared to any other i’ve played. But i found something i wasn’t quite expecting when i bought the game a month ago. How do you have a game called Guild Wars 2 when the Guilds can’t take on each other? When it came to Call of Duty i was never a domination guy and that is what the PvP combat basically is. I love the game, content, and my personal guild is incredible. (FIST, The Iron Fist Legion) I just find it weird there isn’t a better PvP….

Don’t worry sitback, guildwars 1 players have their own personal waypoint in cursed shore down there in the very bottom by a temple, it’s called “Murdered Dreams Waypoint”.

I don’t see you wondering why the definition of guildwars isn’t in guildwars whining, and many others don’t either.

Yeah in mean i love the game, its just some more PvP would be great

The name for guildwars comes from the lore. I am not super proficient on guildwars lore, but I believe it stems from essentially a time when the world was divided into guilds who were constantly at war with each other. From there you get the game we all sit here and discuss, guildwars.

Has nothing to do with actual GvG.

But I couldn’t agree more about the lost potential in gvg.

it felt incomplete in the pvp field. Kind of rushed. Lacking many things players enjoyed in GW1. Some of those are going to be released during halloween, others hopefully soon.

kittening get a guild group going. face another guild group. congrats, it’s now GVG.

… even better: Call guildies irl, call another guild irl … meet up irl and beat eachother up. Now you have a GvG.

OT: I miss GvG too, along with HoH. Not gonna cry about it though … now I have time to finish my article and read a book I haven’t finished … it is not a bad thing, really

I was just expecting myself to be more upset about it, but I am not … which I suppose is healthy. And as I said: I completely agree.
I was merely expressing some disappointment in the way alcopaul argued, which I find to be completely irrelevant.
