On a serious note I have no interest for this game, but other people will do because of the boredom of sPvP and lack of arena-net input.

Coming from WoW I know you need to start early to stay ahead in pvp due to the gear treadmill, your blog that takes ten day to write needs to come soon. I’m afraid we will lose a large pvp player base.

T&C: We said esports so np we don’t need to worry about spvp now.

My team went 4 days without losing, not because we are exceptional but the competition is lacking. It took 4 days to find a team that even made the game challenging, We are NOT learning from this in anyway shape or form.

True, if we face a pug it’s a automatic win. And it’s hard to find a challenging team to face. What I would suggest is find some friendly competition on your server and both of you queue at the same time, then you’ll have something to practice with.

Another example: “We havent announced anything about the trading post being down, because it is not working yet! We will announce when it is back up!” <- What good does that announcement do after it being already up and fixed?!

I mean, they are like TOTALLY clueless about how to communicate with their customers.

While I’m totally against all the negativity and doomsday gibberish, that is a genuinely good question.

@Deeepblue: I bet my head that you’re right…the OP is surely running – 2x guardians-2xmesmer-warrior/thief; against whom the majority of players are clueless against atm.

So OP try to run with non-gimmick team set-up and try to win 4 days in a row with the majority of the community able to counter ( skill based still) effectively, waiting for your videos.

But generally I find it amusing that somebody running double guardian+spirit hammer-trebuchet teleport mesmer -smoke field thief, come here and complain about the grade of difficulty in sPvP….try to run using less exploits?!

When they’ll remove those things I wonder where your team will be….

I’m not saying we are good by any means, I’m trying to say that there is no ELO/Ranking system therefore playing random teams gets boring. I’m trying to say we only did this because no good teams qued into us not because we are amazing.

We run mesmer/thief/warrior/guardian/necro, We don’t want to run double mesmer double guardian crap just because its broken therefore we don’t bother.

We don’t use these things, with the exception of the mesmer portal treb. We didn’t lose in 4 days running a normal setup. pls try hardur.

If you didn’t care you wouldn’t have mentioned it. I didn’t even know WoW had a new expansion coming out. I have no interest in the game anymore. I have done everything I wanted to do in the game and then some.

Why would we run 2 necros? Same reason we don’t run 2 mesmers. Why can’t you people just accept that we aren’t playing what you are insinuating “this guy hasnt lost in 4 days must be playing double mesmer hurrdurr” ubadbro.

I care that people will leave the game because of lack of competition/elo/mmr etc. I Won’t play WoW but people will.

By spvp I hope they mean the concept of spvp and not conquest.

That would gamechanging.

However on a more serious note : It’d be hard for me to play wow grind even if THEY paid me the subscription fee per month.

As long as ArenaNet follows through with its E-Sport plans, this game will do fine. WoW isn’t an E-Sport except for its seasonal tournaments. Anyone seeking an actual balanced MMORPG E-Sport only has GW2. (once they fix the profession bugs and imbalances as they said they would)

Of course WoW’s arena will receive more publicity on Twitch because most players just want to stomp noobs by having better gear.
