Have to say it’s a shame seeing development spent on this map. It should be left as is and dropped to hotjoin only. Development saved for stuff that really needs it, i.e. new maps or game modes.

I was so excited when I saw this because I thought it was ging to be an announcement if the map being retired like Capricorn… One can dream…

The fix actually did happen, it restructured the side points and hammer platform a bit – they really were even worse before it, since random knockbacks were almost guaranteed to get kills then, whereas now at least a tiny, tiny bit of positional awareness is required when running a knockback build.
Pulls, however – those oh-so-fun pulls – were barely affected. Only certain knockbacks/launches (like Stomp and Tornado) got properly weakened by it.
And here I thought we were actually getting some changes! XD
For the record, I actually DO like Skyhammer. I find the need to be positionally aware to avoid knockoff-kills to be a refreshing change. However, I agree that the Skyhammer itself is overpowered and needs some adjusting. Something as simple as making the laser blasts dodgeable might do the trick.
Josh, really, you guys are beating a dead horse here and it just feels like you’re just slapping as many band aids as possible in order to justify keeping a map that clearly Anet love but the majority of players really don’t. It’s just clutching at straws, you guys really should have known better when you designed the only map in the game that dictates how you create your build and the CC heavy style of play.
try to KB a good guardian from clocktower and tell me if you dont need to skillfully aim.
