They need to update the NPC professions you fight in HotM.

You should be able to talk to them. Ask for them to do a certain skill. Than they do certain skill until you kill them, killed, or out of combat.

This way people can practice avoiding thief pulls, engy magnet, learn all the animations and when to dodge. Also they should have a treb that constantly goes off too, so people learn how to time the treb shots.

Another thing, there should be broken glass in HotM as well, and 3 NPCs in different locations, so people learn how to play on Skyhammer.

those are really cool ideas, but i think they’d be better off on instances. maybe a practice arena where only you and your party get in.
