Well, you’re gonna want to equip a 2nd weapon set. 8^)

There are no actual pointers that could be given that would actually help you in any considerable way as a SoloQer.

There’s the usual stuff like:

-Pay attention to the map and outrotate/+1.
-Fight on point when you have it capped. Feel free to fight off point if you’ve got ranged pressure and they’re primarily melee. Fight on point if you’re confident you can force a quick decap (only possible with tons of displacement CC).
-If its Kyhlo, try to find a good opportunity (usually after a team fight you’ve won) to run and destroy their treb. If you feel like your build isn’t suited for larger team fights, feel free to soften up the enemies on mid with the treb (don’t camp).
-Don’t play ranger :P. Not because it isn’t meta, but because you’ll soon feel the hurt of camping LB (did you even bring a second weapon?).

Oh, you’ll also want to learn animations. Know what to dodge and whatnot.

Tip: Check your camera settings. You have limited view.

You went for spike on Mesmer who still had his downskill while teamate was low on downed hp. You should have either went for the revive, or a partial revive then the spike imo.

Don’t forget to thank the guy you had kicking kitten on the treb.

My aim and role I want to play is quick caps and decaps.
The CC’s I have along with Lightning Refleces allows me to keep distance between myself and the enemy.
Ancient Seeds also procs well; I use this to push enemy off node, then Ancient seeds with trigger keeping them in place, allowing me to decap and continue DPS.
Have equipped a second Weapon Set, I don’t usually forget this but I guess I got carried away.
As for Celestial Avatar, I use this as a Personal Heal, I see minimum point in using it in Solo Rated Que.
In Team Que, I would use it more often as there would be greater communication within he team.
