Video Editing Software?
The only thing I know of that is basic, easy to use, and free is the built in window’s Movie Editor software that comes with most Windows installs.
However if you are serious about making videos you are going to want more professional software, but those are neither free nor easy to use.
Most free video editors don’t do much beyond cutting and adding/removing sound.

I’ve used Divx Author for a while – pretty decent. You should be able to DL a trial version.

Started recording my play during season 5 as a form of self coaching. I have bunch of footage from that and thought it’d be fun to put together a little highlight reel. Nothing pro level just fun moments I had/am proud of.
I have no experience editing video, and don’t really know where to start looking. I use a pc and I’m hoping there is something out there that’s basic, possibly easy to use and ideally free.

I use Adobe Premiere Pro, works great, easy to learn. Here is a link to the website, there is a free trial on the top right. http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere.html
I currently work with Hitfilm Studio. The express version is free and they sell plugin packs that can take care of most things you don’t get with just the base version.

It’s been awhile since I messed with it the “LightWorks” has a free version. The free versions enables exporting to YouTube and Vimeo. Whereas the Pro version is for all other. Lots of tutorials available as well.
