Guild Wars 2

So, to provide some context, I wanted to try out the power ranger pewpew-ing myself now in hotjoin (its kinda fun) – because I really didn’t want to try this out in any sort of serious setting – and saw again how awful that game mode can be.

Obviously it still has his fair share of stacking, leaving and spectator mode abuse. So, I noticed now, that if you don’t volunteer and you’re put into the other team, you’ll lose the match. I just wanted to ask if this was intentional? I’d say, I usually volunteer, because I couldn’t give a crap about the team I am on as long as I can test some build or do stuff for kittens and giggles (e.g. “the epic trail of diarrhea” that is engi’s slick shoes and rocket boots). So I just noticed this now. I am just curious about this mechanic.

Inb4: OMG its hotjoin, why do you care!

Well, because I am curious. Also, because some people like to do their daily class in hotjoin to get it out of the way, so now they know they should always volunteer to get the guaranteed win bonus.
