I agree. At the same time it shows an effort to get players back in spvp.

Yup very lame. And afaik, it was a one-time only thing because of the patch timing. But still, 10 (or 11 for some) laurels = 1/3 of an ascended piece basically. FOR FREE.. Ugh

I would love to finish my PvP monthly but due to loooooooooong queue wating time, match making system fail and maining a thief, that is impossible atm.

not really you can only get daily/monthly laurels from pve OR pvp, not both

were none of you here when laurels came out in january patch and people had already finished their monthly?

It’s a bug there is a note in the patch stating you should only be able to obtain laurels from either pvp or pve not both

I don’t know if this guys trolling or ignorant? Regardless if you did your monthlies before or after the patch for january didn’t matter because they gave no laurels at all

It sucks but oh well. I’m just glad they made the change. I missed 10 laurels, but if this gets more people into pvp or at least lets me work on progressing in pve while I pvp, it was worth the loss.

Since you can usually complete the monthly just after…well…maybe 1 hour? But at the end of the day i don’t give a kitten bout laurels so it’s ok… xD

Yeah I was also a bit bummed out that I finished it before the patch, but hey, good news for next month right?

shiiiat, other players get 10 more laurels than you!!! Report them all to death. I mean with 10 laurels you can buy 20 unid dyes. Whaaaaat???? so many gold incoming, I would feel like dagobert duck!

I did the sPVP monthly last night on a Thief (I was sPVP rank 1 to start) in about 2-3 hours. I never sPVP (WvW only).

So I think you may be exaggerating the situation.

Getting laurels for spvp is awesome now. Sure sucks for people who spent the time to do the pve dailies, but from now on it will be done is pvp for me.

I completed my dailies today in about 30m in spvp. I usually complete over 50% in the first match then I need to play 2 more games and cap a few points and it’s over for me.

I main a thief as well.

It’s like that penny parable or whatever about working for the wage that Jesus told.

You did it for what you did it for at the time. It changed. Bummer. But you were happy with your reward, hopefully, when you did it so don’t spazz out about it now.

And I’m glad they changed it, cuz I was trying to do the PvP daily and the PvE daily every night in a limited time span. Now I can get a laurel either way that’s a bonus. But I’m still trying to do both. Yay.
