Not really sure where my collection of PVP items has gone to. The patch notes say they should show up once you go to HotM but I haven’t gotten any. Getting a bit concerned.

I have the same issue… my pvp locker contained nearly every skin. Now i dont have access to the skins apart from the ones i wore at patch time… is that normal?

Completely exit the game and come back. You’ll see the skins and charges.

You guys scare me, now I don’t want to log into the game anymore. Gotta wait for the hot fixes.

What does rank have to do with anything? You log in and re log and you get your items.

I did that a few times, i got nothing. Have a few skins ages old, where is the new stuff, where is the rest of the stuff that i unlocked months ago?

Probably a bug? I dunno. You have to wait a few hours for Anet to work out all the bugs before logging in. Or this could be a giant conspiracy to kitten over Dragon rank pros like yourself.

That does not work.

I had a rather full PvP locker.

Now I have nothing.

I have lost all of my unlocked pvp skins pre patch except for the ones that I am wearing post patch. Are there any way that I could get some of these skins back? or do i have to unlock each and everyone of them again? Much appreciated.

i have the same problem my Stalwart Shoulders are gone and also some other stuff.

You don’t pay when you change the skin.

You pay when you get charges.

If you wanted, for example, keep two hats you switch constantly. You will ahve to get to items and keep them in the inventory. You can’t use the skins for that.

The more appearances you want to switch, the more inventory or constant flow of charges you’ll need, as they won’t add a way to actually unlock skins.

Instead, you just unlock a “catalog” entry for the skin, which you will ahve to continuously acquire for use, but never the skin, with the exception of the HoM and AP skins that actually get unlocked.

For spvp locker skin unlocks and pvp rank transmutation charges try going to the mists through the portal in gend fields instead of using the menu. You’l get both in several tries.

Umm, I entered the mist on my Guardian alt and had some of the skins he was wearing and nothing else, for some reason when I relogged back onto my main and entered all the UI tooltips and unlock spam happened. I think it didn’t fully trigger on my Guardian.

Entered the mist through UI on both characters so didn’t involve the portal.

PS if anyone can answer soon do I have to wait for 100,000 unlock messages or can I leave? XD

Why do you apply pve skin on my pvp characters and not the other way around, that´s not fair at all?
The 80 transmutation stones are not enough for all my Characters!

I have to spend transmutation stones on my pvp chars and if i level them up or even exchange an armor piece on an 80 character i have to keep the old transmutated piece in my bag all the time just so i can look nice in pvp?

Is this the final version or will we see changes to the system? Can´t believe it at the moment.

Edit: logged out then back in, seems to have fixed it.
Edit2: Never mind, only some of the items are appearing in the wardrobe, though all of them showed up on the side like achievements do.

Another way for Anet to cash-in by making us spending money in gem store, its really annoying but it funds them

This is terrible. I have over 30 characters and you give my account 80 charges. Meaning I have to buy gems, to buy charges, to apply skins, to items in which I’ve already unlocked.

You can click on them and they’ll go faster, if it makes you antsy.

Also, try going into the Mists with your first character. That should do the trick.

try to guest another server. it helps me.

Try entering the Mists multiple time, I solved it this way.

Also, as some of my chars are level 2, I can’t fully equip them until I have bought PVE equips. Truly this aint a PVE oriented patch cof cof

it seems that I am rank 80 but all the skins that were unlockables post patch don’t seem to unlock

Try entering to the Heart of the Mists, but through the Gendarran Fields’ stargate

ok wardrobe is cool and stuff but why the F are you resetting my traits, armor, weapons in pvp. i mean half of my armor is gone cuz i play a lvl 2 char then i need to rebiy runes and pay for my previous armor??? redicoulus, c’mon you wanted pvp to be noob (new players) friendly… not the good way to go

And you also have to keep the transmuted weapons in your inventory. no more banks

In another thread i read that going through the gendarran-portal should do the trick and that finally unlocked my skins now

You were in hotm when you first logged in. Just go into PvE and then come back and everything will be added. At least that is how it worked for me.

Can you PLEASE split PvE and PvP weapon sets?

This is silly that they are “linked”: it will completely screw over those who are in PvE and join a PvP match and cannot swap weapons. Not only this, but it takes up space in our inventory.

I did not enjoy losing my pvp gear sets on all my 8 characters, each one had unique looks in pvp different from pve.
Now I dont even have all the pvp weapons I had cause in the pve set did not have said weapons, most of my 80’s level characthers aren’t even fully geared,
This means I will have to buy some silly low grade weapons reskin them for the pvp purpose and waste the charges.
And when I have the time or funds to get proper pve weapons (exotic or ascedent)plus armour to fully equip them with said lost pvp weapons I will have to reskin them all over again, I know I got over 80 charges with the update but it will take a long time for me to redo my pvp gear, you could have warned us before hand that the pvp gear our characther where wearing would BE gone and replaced by the pve versions of it >_> my ranger is level 80 for months or even a year but only has the tier 2 cultural sets thats level 60 rares >_> and only a short bow and some low great sword while is pvp set was axe torch, sword dagger, weapons I DO NOT HAVE IN PVE this means I will have to buy some junk just for pvp, waste charges just to the looks, I dont have the funds to give her proper weapons and the worst part the looks do not split from pve to pvp, I really liked having cultural sylvary on her in pve but pvp i liked a mix matched set and a red rose on her back which I dont have back item from pve meaning more waste. Had I knew I would lose the pvp gear I would have taken screenshots of the sets and dyes X_X

Either way great job on the rest but I lost my toys weapons I might be panicking and hope to find them but my warrior had a drill and bocing gloves both i can’t find

Go to wardrobe and you can use the skins you previously unlocked in PvP to put onto PvE equipment. The equipment can be starter level 14 greens and it will be fine.
Clicking on the armor piece in wardrobe will bring you a list of unlocked skins. All the stuff in locker and on your person will be there.

Simply use a charge to change equipment look. You get a stone for each rank you have (after conversion, so r46→patch→r54 I get 54 charges.).

Yeah it means you have to keep playing and ranking up to change the looks.

I’m ok with the change it just means I’ll have to keep a set of PvP gear in my bag when I joyride in Pve.

The gear section for PvP should allow for faster changes (no longer needed to put on 6 runes, and sigils separately).

It’s all good. Embrace the change…

Why the kitten should we embrace the change? I liked being able to change whatever gear I unlocked whenever I feel like it. Now I have to work for it or even worse, PAY for it?!
