All of us know that the warrior is too weak compared to other classes. He need some changes and i want to put here some suggestion for you.

  • Adrenaline and Burst skills:
    The warrior is the only class that have an useless secondary attribute in his final trait line: “Burst Damage +0.1%”.
    You can change it to make in line with other profession like: “Burst skills recharge 1% faster”.
    Or make it stronger like: +1% critical change with burst skills.
    An other problem with brust skills is that there isn’t something that allow people to do a build that spam burst skills. You can put some traits like: “Burst skills apply x stacks of y for z time. (where y can be a boon or a condition)”
  • Weapons traits:
    You should merge the 2 traits of axe “Sharpened Axes” and “Axe Mastery”, because at the moment they are too weak. Same with Longbow.
    You should put a cooldown of 1 sec or more to Forceful Greatsword. Because this is too much powerfull.
  • Opponent defence:
    A lot of warrior build are based on power and when you fight agains Engi Guardian Elementalist Ranger that continue to have protection you lose a lot of damage. It is a fact the warrior hate protection. As you suggest in the SotG, you should put a trait like: “Strenght XII: Armor Crasher: you deal 20% more damage against target with protection”.
  • Survival:
    An other big problem of warrior is that is the main target because he haven’t a lot of evasion. My suggestion for this is quite too radical: put a 3/4 sec of evasion to all leap skills (it can be applied to other profession too, but heartseeker will be too much strong for new players).
  • Snare:
    I think that warrior have enought of condition removal, and there must be something to stop them. Like you said: “warriors need support for snare”.
  • Useless traits:
    This is for all professions. There are toons of useless minor traits that someone must take in the builds. Like: “Reviver’s Might”. Please think something better or just make them stronger.

Main problems aren’t just useless traits, it’s the fact that the DODGE mechanic is in place. A warrior can cripple a guy endlessly and a dodge will both be able to get him out of warrior’s reach and dodge anything. Everything a warrior has to close the gap are hindered by chill, cripples and a lesser extent immobilize(you can trait to ignore this) and every single other class has ALOT of movement imparring abilties or disables not including every single one of their escapes aren’t affected by cripples/chill.

A warrior pre-patch has relied 100% on catching their opponents OFF GUARD to win, which is why people are complaining quickness nerf hit warriors the hardest. People love to say warriors has amazing damage but its only if you can actually hit them and not get perma blinded. With limited gap closers and dodge mechanic itself warrior will always be at a bad spot.

kill shot, 100 blades and eviscerate should all be 1 hit kills.

giving them evades on movement skills could be good, and some new traits.
Or maybe protection and stability when they use burst skills.
