It’s the only legit counter to necro/reapers.

I’ve seen chill carrion reapers with half LF beat DH, herald, scrapper, druid 1v1 on point. They are a pain to deal with.

Highly annoying condi daredevil counters the necro build you speak of. The scepter and staff are too slow. Plus the thieves just dodge everything. REALLY A PAIN the daredevils. I was happier when thieves were at the bottom of the barrel.
