80% just is some nonsense that could be left unfixed forever.
Im sure that the game will soon be flawless bug wise, but only 3% of the players are here left to enjoy it.
Some very important bugs for PvP were fixed… so I really like the patchnotes.

They advertised the game as a PvP game and used words like Esports to make it sound awesome.
When in reality, a month has now passed from the release and that minigame they call PvP feels like a rushed out piece of garbage and aside from it being totally 100% ignored in every perspective, they cant even write thekittenblog about it to keep ppl even remotely interested.
edit: thats the reason what makes it sokittenhard to symphatize and cheer for these bug fixes

Stop trolling, if you think.. (the thing that can happen in your brain) .. you would know they cant make big changes yet. Because the game is still quite new and the population very new to the mechanics, tactics, skills and much more. They cant really tell if problems are caused by the community or by the game itself… yet.

You make it sound like I had been talking about buffing and nerfing and that is not the case here.
Im talking about making the whole pvp in general.
For an example: They could do something to fix the hotjoin for tournaments (separate it from premades) to make it playable.
Or like stated above, write thekittenblog that was promised 12days(?) ago.

this so much, i sense Age of conan type of fail incomming, slow fixing, no update about the stuff that matters, ppl leave the game before it’s done.

If they didn’t fix things like that foefire exploit and went ahead released new content like rankings, people would abuse it in every tournament. Then you would be back here on the forums complaining that ranks mean nothing because people are cheating. The bug fixes have to come first before they can release any serious pvp.
That patch notes list was a mile long, fixing important pve problems. If we want to be crybabies, we can say that they are “ignoring us” and that gw2 will fail because yadda yadda and some more crying mixed in with sarcastic remarks. I don’t know about you guys, but I play pve as well as pvp. I’m glad they are focusing the majority of their efforts where the majority of the playerbase will feel it. It does suck that we’ve not had an update for pvp, but there’s no reason to cry. It will come. Really. And a month after it’s released you’ll all have completely forgotten all this.

But for the pvp part, all of my friends have stopped logging in to the game during the last 2 weeks and im seriously worried that a patch coming, say 2 weeks from now will not be enough to get their interest back again.

Not everyone feels like you. A vast majority of players are still playing PvP and enjoying it, winning tournaments and collecting gear.
Of course, we’re also the ones not complaining about everything being “OP”.

Oh … what a huge exploit they fixed in Foefire! I completely understand why people are sarcastic about this. Arenanet has overlooked some EXTREMELY simple things in PvP mechanics. Like how latency / lack of design of stealth affects thieves trying to hide from an onslaught of ranged damage tearing their face off. Hidden in stealth … still eating a ton of channeled damage because stealth doesn’t break lock on channeled skills at any range, lovely. So rangers / eles / warriors and whatever else has that mechanic can be channeling a target they cannot see, hitting with 100% accuracy until channeled spell is over, totally competitive!
Back to map exploits for a bit … that’s a joke of a fix. How about a game breaking exploit like Flesh Golem charging the Treb in Khylo?? INSTANTLY BROKEN TREB! 100% competitive play right there! XD Just send a necro in, charge treb with golem, leave. Something like this going unfixed will meta a necro into every team, which goes against Arenanets philosophy, if I’m not mistaken.
And then when it comes to class fixes. Wow … they just blow my mind. I see them talking about fixing “extreme” uptime on boons like vigor so they fix Engi and fixed a trait for thief, bountiful theft, so that it would not double stack vigor. That’s an understandable fix, only gives 15 seconds of vigor base and stops engi from having 100% uptime on vigor … which sounds standard all around the board, I’m for it!
However … what about Elementalists? I’ve watched skilled elementalists maintain 100% uptime on Vigor, Swiftness, and Fury along with a really good uptime on regeneration … and as if that’s not enough, this is accompanied by might which comes in stacks of 37 seconds each, so while fighting they achieve 20+ stacks of might!
My huge problem with this is that first of all … to me, that SCREAMS “extreme” uptime on boons, kind of like what Arenanet is trying to fix, yet this is overlooked? Second of all, in order for other classes to obtain even 10+ stacks of might, they have to meet certain prerequisites, which often times involves something defensive rather than offensive (unlike Elementalists).
For example, warriors. When their attacks are blocked, they can trait to gain might per attack blocked. Or Thieves … dodge roll for 1 stack of might, lasting 15 seconds (not 30 base) or they can sit in stealth to gain two stacks of might for every 1 or 2 seconds they sit in stealth, which means they are not doing any offensive attacks, unlike elementalist. Then there’s Guardians … block attacks to gain might. Also if I’m not mistaken, also doesn’t last 30+ seconds. And Necros! Trait to gain a stack of might for 5 – 10 seconds when hit while under 25% health. Can potentially stack high, but doesn’t last over half a minute. … … …
All these prerequisites to gain might, generally not breaching 20+ which obviously if you’re playing solo seems rather balanced / logical to help encourage team strategy and synergy. So why is it fair for one particular class to have truly extreme uptime on VERY crucial boons as WELL as 20+ stacks of might just by fighting solo??
I’d really love to know what their ideology behind this was, but I’m pretty sure it was just overlooked, like so many other trash aspects of sPvP.

The game should be perfect, dude, when it was released. Or 2 days later at least. Because to wait some time to get the balancing right, the bugs worked out and pvp structures activated is obviously to much for the peoples nowadays. I mean, look at the other games… they all are perfect at the release day.

The flesh golem doesn’t 1 shot the treb, but yes it does significant damage. A necro isn’t any more effective than a staff ele is, a staff ele is probably even better. It is not “game breaking” as you decribe it in anyway.
Your tears about boons seem excessive too.
Could someone give me this ele build that gets perma swiftness, fury and vigor using just dps rotation and pretty high uptime on regen with 30second might stacks for total of 20 pls, I would really like to see and test this.
Can we get a fix for underwater down state? I bloody hate when people keep jumping out of the water and becoming invulnerable.

With Quickness and perma retal in the game, you whine about 10 stacks of might?
You know it costs an elem 4 spells to do that right?
Also the vigor thing where bugs dude. Elem buffs arent a bug. And the buff upkeep you’re talking about isnt even kitten possible. The only way to get a really long buff is by switching attune then also using the heal glyph, which has a 25 second cooldown. So how the hell are you going to keep all of them up? We can get 1 with a long duration, depending on attune, which is the whole fricking mechanic of the class if you cared to think about it for a second.
100% uptime on three boons, get your facts straight man. Why destroy a valid post like that. Guess i should now put in some ‘bridge’ or ‘trash forum troll’ remarks now. Seriously setting a good example there man, you’re so awesome and witty.

How about asking Prince on Yak’s Bend instead of simply being a bad player who can’t figure out how to do it themselves and thus thinks it’s not possible? I’ve watched this particular Ele do it multiple times, consistently, and this is where I originally learned of their absurd uptime capabilities, not just random QQ.
So instead of sounding like an Ele who doesn’t know how to do it, why not look into it first, instead of assuming it isn’t even possible, because I can assure you, it is indeed possible. If I actually had recorded some material I would’ve presented it as well, and then you wouldn’t even have room to respond like you did.
