Is that supposed to be a “feature patch”? It feels like a “feature-remove patch”
1. They never said the 18th was going to be when the big patch was coming.
2. Even if you manage to misinterpret their intentions 1 month ago they specified that the feature patch wont come until a later date.
They are alot of things to be kittened off at, the removal of glory instead of simply keeping it until a new system is in place, but whining about the feature patch not being out today is not one of them.
Also you are probably going to be waiting a lot more longer, so sit down and relax.

I haven’t been playing in months and a friend of mine was mentioning a patch was going down today. Only to look at the patch notes and was I surprised……… Not a bit Another let down, at least it wasn’t to bad since I haven’t played.

honestly though with the dire state of pvp i don’t think removing all form of reward is the best move…infact i don’t see any logic behind it what-so-ever.
i really thought we’d be getting some form of currency to spend this patch, perhaps wvw tokens or something, i really didn’t expect they’d just remove our currency and leave us with nothing.
if the feature patch is really so great then they should just remove glory then not now.
right now they’ve just left an already poorly regarded game mode feeling like even more of a waste of time.

Keep letting them fool you that the fix for pvp is right around the corner. Don’t you understand yet they do not have enough resources committed to pvp and never will? They can have all the good intentions in the world but it doesn’t matter because they don’t have the resources. They do what management says.

Not going to lie, I kind of tried to prevent this sort of thread about a month ago by making the thread “March 18th is NOT the Feature Patch”.
If this doesnt tell you that better communication with players is BADLY needed, I dont know what to tell you…this whole “feature patch” vs “maintenance patch” thing has been a mess. I mean how can a patch be considered just a “maintenance patch” when it adds features to PVE and WvW?

What balance/PvP teams do you see on anet? theres like 3 guys on this team lol
Everyone I run into during SoloQ is running the same builds, hambow warriors, spirit rangers, decap engies, dhumfire/MM necros, etc.
PvP and balance teams are non existent lol, not trying to be rude, just being realistic here. Its been 1.5 years and theres been little to no change in PvP until now where they finally scrapped everything basically with the removal of pvp currency
I think most knew this wasn’t going to be the feature patch. That said, removing PvP rewards at this time was quite dumb of them.
This was the result of months of consideration and thinking it over. It clearly is to make way for the soon changes coming in soon. This is epic, and will change the very soul of gaming by shaking it to its very core. Soon.
Whit, this is already happening, and it’s really big, man. You will see soon, when it’s done, and you will, at some point, kneel before them in respect. Next patch will shake the very foundations of mmos, it’s just behind the corner so get ready!
