Hey,
In my opinion we need some more effect to particular skills as Quality of Life improvements.

The thing is i.e. I am used to play with D/F ele in party however Swirling winds [Air skill 4 I belive] looks the same both friendly and unfriendly which makes life (and esport) harder.

My solution is: Add a red ring effect. Just like Slick Shoe works. Enemy’s Slick Shoe got red ring effect. Or maybe make it red swirling wind.

And there are more issue like this:
Ele
-Swirling Winds
-Fiery Greatsword/ice bow etc. – I would love to know which fgs is friend without hovering my mouse over them

Engi
-Med bandages – these little packets of health mainly from supply crate. When there are double supply crate on points you can tell which med pack is which

Ranger
-Entangle – sometimes visual effect of roots is bugged and doesnt appear at all, moreover roots itsself appears as passive enemy(yellow one). Since its pretty unique mechanic (you can destroy these roots) I would love better visual effect thats show up every time.

If u got any other skill that needs some more visual love that post it below – maybe someday someone will see it and will add some fixies (like warrior’s pin down and ranger’s Poinbt Blank Shot)

Engi:
Acid Bomb (Elixer Gun #4 ability) has no AOE ring and appears as a brown smear. Currently it is impossible to tell if it is from a friendly engi or enemy engi. It hits strongly on power builds (5-7k aoe damage).

We need less visual effects not more, it’s way too much as it is that it’s hard to tell what is going on a lot of the times.

This. ANet really need to rethink pvp skill effects, more informative at a glance less blinding.

Less effects please. Having flashy stuff in your screen is not gameplay. I want to be able to know what’s going on. Having a 4v4 or 5v5 fight at a point is already bad enough.

Which we all want.

Wile i agree on clarity effects, i would be willing to settle for some more humph effects on characters hitting with there weapons. You know like when you use your 1 or 2 skills so it shows that it has a little more kick when it hits it’s target.
