What GW2 PVP needs (imo).
Yes please! and not just 2v2 or 3v3 conquest. imo team death match would be totally fine, and its also easy to implement.
Thing is, the game has been designed around 5v5 comps. I can’t imagine it being very fun, having a 2v2 against a Scrapper and Druid. They’d never die.
well obviously i think anet would need to ban a few amulets to make this work, but again, thats also pretty easy tbh.
Players will always find a way to find the next “OP” thing. Remember the recent Mesmer nerf, when people said that Anet killed Mesmer and it was useless? A short time later, someone figures out the Chronoshatter build, that’s in the current Meta.
So the only way I can see this working correctly is if they made it a 2 round elimination 3v3. If you die you are out of the round. If time runs out for the round the win goes to the team with whom earns the most points cumulatively. More points are earned from stomps than cleave. You earn points for a successful res. it goes to a 3rd round if you win a match and lose one.
