If you go to the merchant that sells the jewels.

Berserkers Amulet, etc.

On the second page there is like a jewel upgrade that says you apply to any jewel with an upgrade slot.

What are these used for?

Is it possible to get upgraded jewels in spvp at some rank? I saw that in my spvp locker than there were some spots for upgraded jewels…

You can put any of the jewels (found in the second page) in any of the amulets (found in first page) just by replacing. For example you can have a Berzerker Amulet with Soldier Jewel. All the merchant sells is what is avaliable, doesn’t depend on rank.

So, you can’t get any upgrade stats, you can just change the berserkers amulet around a little bit, etc ?

Yes, it’s just to give a little more customization. It does not provide any advantage or anything since every amulet starts off with a jewel already in it.

Yep as others have said, its just a bit of extra fine tuning for stats. Like if you want knights amulet, but with a little more power, you can stick zerker gem in it, without having to make the full leap to full zerker amulet which may be too much.

So yeah, just for fine tuning stuff really, only needed if you think it will help.
