Specifically builds on metabattle. I get stuff like thief vs necro depends on skill of both and if necro has life force or not.

Several of the builds under counter just say tbd (to be determined)

I know some things like power shiro is good but weak vs condis especially stuck in shiro form. And that druid and maybe warrior or engi can counter condis. Can thieves or rev, or dh or power reaper counter condis any?

What counters tempest, chronomancer, etc. I know chill used to counter tempest and reaper was a hard counter but the chill got nerfed. And don’t see any counter for chrono but not as familiar with it other than light pve. Would love a hard counter to scrapper too.

Just curious b/c most matches I see nothing but scrappers, condi necros, and maybe a warrior, rev or thief.

Chiming in on Chrono: Basically an aoe heavy class like a DH trapper or certain specs of ele and cleave melee are decent, but the problem is that a Chrono with full CDs can and should win any 1v1 because of the possibility for double Moa.

I play Chrono main and I can say it’s still pretty broken. However, as Crowley mentioned a good DH can give you it trouble, but if you play carefully and use CD’s properly (excluding double moa because in a 1v1 thats lame) you should be able to take a DH.

The one counter I have found is a thief running bound. If they play cautiously and use the mesmer steal that gives them boons and regen, they basically can jump in burst and then perma stealth, eventually they will get you down if they are patient.

A good scrapper will also be very tough to beat, but if you’re reapplying condi’s fast enough they will go down eventually.

whats a hard counter to scrapper since i see so many these days? Yeah I like my thief vs chrono mes b/c of the steal boon, problem is mes is usually with the group in a team fight so not as good there. Can +1 at least if careful.
