What do you miss in GW2 that other games had?
I loved the talent system in Rift. THAT was the way how to build a character you wanted it was one of the best talent systems i have encountered. Sure it had issues here and thier but i loved it.

Since it’s very possible that many ppl haven’t actually played the games you’re referring too, could you maybe elaborate on why it was such a good system to you?

You get to choose from a vast 9 different talent trees to select in 3 slots and you can build your character the way you want, play the character you want the way you want. its SO customizable.
I miss the portal gun in every game I play… but really there isn’t anything I think of when playing guild wars that I say man they need to have this in here as far as game mechanics go.
I do however miss the dodge button in every other game I play now.
I miss the ability to check a little box so that the PvP instructions box doesn’t pop up and make me rage those random times in between me getting spiked.
hard question.. hm… what do i miss in GW2, oh.. yeas.. i know
COMPETITION !
i miss MMR (matchmaking rating) so much… i hope they will implement it soon, because this is what is killing this game atm…
and i miss arena deathmatch from WOW a bit, small arenas with interesting terrain, fast matches, it would be good if they add it
I don’t really miss WoW itself, but I do miss 3v3 arenas. It was easy to get a team together, queues were quick, and it was some of the most intense and competitive gameplay i have experienced. I love GW2’s gameplay, but if another game gives small scale arenas a shot, i will probably jump on the bandwagon.
Hello everyone,
Making a small comparison with another games is good for supporting your point of view.
However, making a thread about what others game have, and not Guild Wars 2 could be assimilated as advertising. If there is a particular thing you want to suggest, feel free to create a thread in our suggestions sub-forum
Thank you for your contribution and understanding.
