What is Random PvP?
When I joined PvP from PvP Browser > Arenas > Solo Arena, someone told me that I’m weak point in team (because of my Rank 3) and I should do Random PvP instead. So – what is Random PvP?
Also – what is difference between joining fight from Tournament Master of from PvP Browser?

Random pvp is probably that persons way of referring to hot-join, in hot-join you enter through the PvP Browser NPC. In hot-joins you can enter and leave at any time, teams can have up to 8 people, games can be spectated.

Don’t listen to them when they say do hotjoins bcuz of your rank. Rank does not determine skill and you won’t improve much by playing hot join

The difference between tournament and hotjoin is that; each team can only have 5 people, rewards are different (chest from tourn, no chest for hotjoin), Queing (waiting to join a match), team members can’t be replaced during the match, and you get ranked on a leaderboard for playing tournaments.

I would recommend playing the solo/team arenas as your primary format. Hotjoin servers you can like, mess around in, but it’s not really the best environment.

But on the other hand, when you don’t know the difference between hotjoin pvp and tpvp, than you will probably need some practise and learning the basics of pvp.
Than hotjoin will be the better choice. Its a place with not much balance and fairness, people will leave in the middle of the game, sometimes the players will get shuffled and change the team, …. and so on. But you can learn to use your skills in a good way, you can learn about the skills of other professions, and you will learn the maps and about tactics.

As the above posters said he was referring to hotjoin. I really recommend that you do lots of hotjoin to learn how everything works before joining solo queue tournaments because the result of tournaments impacts a player’s ranking, and it is generally a more “serious” game format.

Hotjoin is actually a lot of fun, and just by playing it for a while you will learn all about the game and see how to counter and combine with other classes. There is no commitment in hotjoin games so you can leave if you have to without hurting your team, and the game auto balances teams to compensate for players leaving/joining.

Its a fantastic low stress and very fun way to spend time doing pvp and trying out different builds, and you are not “ruining” anyone else’s game by participating in them.
