The announcement article is pretty vague on this, and I haven’t been able to find any posts about this on the forum. So, does anyone one know what is replacing glory? Or is spvp going to have literally no rewards now?

I think that’s all as far as official info goes.

My guess would be Karma. Would probably be easiest to switch between both pvp and pve. I don’t think gold cause we already have access to it now.

i thought gold (silvers) is the replacement?

would be very nice if we can get both karma and silvers together though.

Unique PvP PvP crafting mechanic that’s being built from scratch, is my guess.

So the legendaries will be used in PvP? If we can carry stuff to pve and vice versa..

I’m waiting for this gear unification patch because if they want all armor to be universal that means, I would assume, that they have to give PvP players access to Ascended gear. I can’t think of any other way around that.

Personally I would be just fine with that because I outright refuse to spend my time grinding out materials when I could be doing something more interesting. It would also provide PvP-only players an incentive to try out WvW and PvE because they can jump in with optimal gear. I’d like to see the game go back to working towards getting the look you want rather than having to spend a good amount of time getting optimal gear.

It’s gotta just be the skins. If they merged it all to where you had your PvP stuff in PvE and vice versa there would be an instant flood of sigils/runes/gear into PvE lol.
