Guild Wars 2

Basically, I’m sick of getting terribads as allies in solo queue and would like to get carried instead, as anet thought it would be a fantastic idea to not reset MMR with a leaderboard reset.

What is the most efficient method to tank my MMR? Do I just throw matches? Or would just quitting the game or d/c’ing be faster? Any other methods that come to mind?

All help would be very much appreciated.

They didn’t reset MMR afaik. They need to allow an option for a player to reset their MMR every 500 games or something.

Learn a new class.

think youll have to play to lose… iirc forfeits/desertions wont hit your mmr, just your ladderboard points

I don’t think you understand how bad low MMR is….

Having grinded 3 accounts to high MMR, I can tell you: the first few games at starter MMR are all full of surprises.

You have not seen true terror until you play in those games. I suggest you don’t tank your account.

Acandis I think you’re missing the point he’s trying to get at. High MMR matches you with even lower MMR players to offset the average. I don’t think I have ever played with people as unexperienced, ignorant, and just plain unintelligent as I have since the patch (granted not all are like this). People who sit on the points, don’t attack other players, don’t res teammates and only do what is the equivalent of AFK while asking/raging at teammates “Why are we losing?”

Just log off! I log off all the time with 0 penalty! That way you don’t have to actually play the game as you tank your MMR! In fact, I logged off just now! I come home from work with nobody to play CSGO with so I’m like OK I guess I’ll log into Guild Warts 2 and play terrible conquest! Then it’s a 4v5! Welp what a waste of time! Guess I’ll just log off!
