Most cancerous matchmaking system I have yet encountered. Nothing qualifies to this madness. I recall 7 games today with this dreadful tempest… only 1 of the 7 games were I lucky enough to avoid having him on my team. One of the games he decided to afk at the very beginning to break my win streak. I’m horrified. I had progressed 1 pip in tier 6 diamond now I’m tier 4 after having countless loss steaks followed up by 1 comeback on each interval. I’m too tired to tell the full story of todays matchmaking atrocities but I can mention brief 3-4 games up against same premade team and also notably full premade team when soloQing. I sincerely hope Anet makes some adjustments to not end up having same players multiple times, as to this system is beyond the definition of fair, balanced matchmaking.
You are at diamond tier 6. Most people want minimum number of players at that level for exclusivity of being called “high level players”. So, its quite expected that you will playing with and against almost same set of people over and over again.
Interestingly, however, people in emerald are also complaining about the same. I wonder why.
