So I wanted to get some of my friends together so we could try Team Arena and have some fun, most of our team ratings were 56% except for me who is jumping within 300-600 since I queue with different people.

We Queue up, and then I open the score board to see the classes were fighting against and I see this.

We’re fighting the players within the TOP 10! what the absolute kitten is going on?? did the MMR System crash or something?!?!

Cuz there are few teams queuing, and you happen to be the next closest one to match up.

So its normal for this to happen? You’re not kidding me? Why the hell does rating exist in the first place? The top players are just allowed to constantly farm new players trying team Q?

Is the matchmaking seriously disgusting enough to allow top players to take such a dump on the faces of players still learning?

Not enough people playing tourneys means there is a small pool to choose from, pvp population is small, especially at higher tier

play at primetime – NA dont have much ppl and in night people are farming^^

What the hole 5 team’s left!!!. Honestly everyone has quit the game and Anet is now making PvP place for PvE’ers to make some coin.

Urm, no? Played some games, got pushed up to ~200ish and from then on five out of six games were against top 10 – top 20 players. While it’s fun on the first or second encounter, it gets annoying on the third, fourth and fifth time.

These matches were played in prime time EU, so I seriously doubt that there weren’t any other top 200 – 400 teams queuing. Matchmaking is way off and if not, tPvP is practically dead atm.

EU is pretty dead on prime time

Tpvp is dead, especially team tournaments where there are maybe 5 active ‘serious’ teams and they dont play with each other much. It’s normal in EU that during primetime your PUG top 500 meets premade top 50 in team queue. There are probably more people playing hotjoin daily than the amount of players in tournaments in one month.
