What`s about matchmaking??
Probably because nobody is playing and in order for you all to not have a 3 hour long queue while the system waits for only people within a certain amount of MMR to queue up, it puts the 10 highest queued up together. If 8 people with 1900 MMR are in the queue and then the next highest are 1850 and 1600, guess who’s going against the 1900’s?
I’m not sure if this is how it is, but this is how it seems. There just aren’t a lot of players pvping this season, especially in the off peak hours.

kitteng yolo, some of the top players dodge other top players and then top players get matched vs people with 100000000 less rating
Not even surprised they haven’t fixed this. Same as last season, duo q top players will be put into a game full of 1600s because no1 else is playing.

Oh wow… This happened to me last season (and i feared it happening this season too), as Silver I fought the top 20 players but the only response you’ll find on these forums is usually “you are where you belong, rating is accurate”….
Still can’t believe in the first week, an accurate rating has already been debunked, thought they would have fixed it by now otherwise rating = nothing.
Need that hard cap on matches, it was suggested heaps last season….
I mostly play for the new Free-For-All arena in PvP lobby.

It was when u play qualification, ye? I dont have question for first 10 games cos i cant understand how does matchmaking work in qualification at all, but after that i didnt play with u at all, before that match, ye?)

Just answer me pls how its working? Why i get match against party of 2 top15 have only 1650 points? Why i get in my enemies guys that have 200+ points?? why i lose 10 points fort this game? Why me Anet?

the image shows you are 176 rank and they are 11 and 12. matchmaker works fine in this case cuz they are only 150 posible rivals in the midle , probably few(or none) in the moment of match. problem is when they, top 25, get paried whith people out of rank. in this case problem is the enormous mmr spread between n1 and n250
people on top 250 may fight people on top 250
Same crap as last season: i am plat, sitting with full team of golds vs sind/ROm duo that are like 500 pts above my teamates. I also was losing like 15-18 pts for those matches back then. People wanted faster queues? They got it. At the costs of quality of matches.

Take a wild guess at what time those top players were playing usually and why (i will give you a hint, not at prime time).

Because quick game > fair game is the way of it, the whole thing should be stopped and worked on before they lose even more of their audience to this.

In my friendlist u was outranking, rly. At first game i specially watch ur rank for interest and didnt saw u in ladder at all
