What's up with those passives.
Play thief. Close to no passives kek.
Indication of passives would be nice though, i agree. The problem is, it would probably lead to UI clutter.

They are finally dealing with vamp runes so that is one less passive to worry about, but yeah they should add indicators for passives that grant stability of immunity. I could take it or leave it on the traits that let the player ignore 1 cc but something like “Last Stand” really needs an indicator.

We have hard to catch…. the worst passive in the game.
Some passives have a “boon” icon while others do not. It’s currently pretty random as to what has it and what doesn’t.
What’s important to remember is that without an icon, neither the player that has it nor the opponent knows when it’s ready. Passive skills without an icon basically just adds a degree of randomness to combat.
E.g. Warrior — you’re ready to stomp and don’t know if you should be using an active stability skill or if you can rely on your passive Last Stand which may have been passively spent earlier in combat.
In all honesty. Id prefer that there be no complete invuln passives. The elixir s proc on engineer is an example of this.. I wouldn’t mind them being significant damage reductions. But completely losing the ability to pressure someone even for a few seconds can be lethal in a close team fight. And its pretty frustrating when you get the drop on someone and even though you KNOW you had them and outplayed them significantly they still get a free chance to recover because your burst isn’t the type that allows you to take out 25% of a players health in a single strike or you couldn’t double lock them with a CC just because they happen to be running x trait.
I wouldn’t say there “op” but I do believe that things that automatically save you without any input from the player should be discouraged. I don’t mind if the traits assist you. But they shouldn’t completely negate the opponents ability to affect you. Mitigating the affect of the dmg or cc by a heavy amount sure. But complete negation? That just seems a bit lame to me.
Do you guys think that there should be this kind of passives that you don’t know when they are up, that are not displayed as a boon ?
Yes. Absolutely yea.
Part of the game is deciphering what build your enemy is running so that you can prepare to counter it. Having all passives that are waiting to be proc’d displayed is too transparent and would lower the skill cap of PvP.
Passives are unhealthy. Yet they keep being pilled on. Makes no sense.

Agreed.
Or rather, I’d like add my own elaboration to that. Passive RNG or passive invulns are unhealthy. My warrior build, for instance, relies on heightened focus and the signet trait to land an unblockable 100b to do a whopping 17k damage on targets with any damage reduction boons or utilities. These are all passive procs I KNOW are going to happen and when. If you see me nail you with a bulls rush and get quickness, you better have saved a stun break.
Things like passive elixir s or vampire runes, or on crit sigils, make the game ridiculous. I should not be firing one pistol shot from my thief without might or vuln and randomly hit 5k and finish you while you were escaping.
