Guild Wars 2

Mostly of the time I see that I need to win games:

- Coordination in teamfights (chain cc, remove condition aoe, rip boon in the right sec, etc )
- Move accordingly to the enemy team (outnumber instead of being outnumbered, etc)

Most of the time the main issues are the lack of communication between me and my teammates, they are playing their game and I have mine, and this just don’t work.
I love this game and so far i can say that the skill factor is definitively under the teamplay.(capture-point mode lock this)
Adding a voice chat would fill a lot of the gap between solo q and team q in my opinion.

Queue must be split first. And then the voice chat should be added for any kind of party (PVE) or team (PVP, tournaments only).

This has already been addressed by devs that they plan on working in an ingame voice commands saying “1 on this point” or something similar that your teammates will hear in game

I’ve always thought this game should have built in voice chat.

Not just for tpvp….

Voice chat would be amazing. Or even voice macros like the Hi-rez games (smite/tribes)

I like voicechat but its a double edged sword in that I don’t want the ability for some idiot I don’t know to say who knows what without me being able to do anything about it. What XGhoul said is more perferable then true chat provided in game for parties. I really don’t want to hear some 10 year old kid I am only going to be grouped with for one match tell me he likes kittens.

I don’t know if any of you played Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (an FPS) but in that game if you pressed V you would bring up voice chat categories, then you’d press 1-6 and you’d get voice options for whatever the situation is (defend this objective, follow me, cover me and then other things like good game, great shot, laughs, etc.) and then you’d just hear the voiceover for it. If that could be done in gw2 and maybe for any messages in the chatbox to have an area location in brackets (e.g. <player name> [Temple]: “defend the objective”) then you could interact with your team even mid-combat since I found the key bindings very easy to use and it would improve co-ordination massively.

As long as i can mute my team I guess it would be a fine feature.
But I’d rather not be forced listening to people shout into a cheap microphone. If you have played CS:GO you’ll know what I mean.

What soloQ need? to be a soloQ.

what soloQ need? a button to report afks so they get ban, whats the reason to have a leaderboard, FULL dependent of your team to work if someone join the game and go afk?

what soloQ need? Matchmaking.

As some have pointed out above: emotes/commands that you can save and load into chat instead of having to type…..
