So I was top 50 for a while, couldn’t get a single game against anyone else in the top 50 for the life of me. Decide to just tank my rating cause I’m not having fun, drop out of the top 250. Immediately when I get out of the top 250 I get put into games with duos in the top 25. Are you kidding me anet like for real you need to hotfix this.

I legit just went back to afking, can’t be bothered queueing just to be farmed by rank 6/10 duo. Apparently it’s a big ask to get fair matchmaking at 1.7k MMR that doesn’t put me vs people in the top 10.

Be happy you are not getting gold teammates anf afker’s on your team on top of it…. -_-

I swear there is a bug somewhere in MM, the moment you get in plat you are forced to play with gold players vs stacked top 10 teams…. it just blows my mind how it is even mathematically possible.

And i really really hate how unrewarding those games are… You win? You get almost nothing… You lose? You lose points equal of 1-2 wins….. what the hell? In what world 1700 equals 2200?!!

I’ve gotten my fair share of gold team mates. Heck I was gold and still had to fight top 10 duo before and I’ve fought teams with gold players when I had Jeff on my team. This has also happened to kdaddy and Bhagwan with many many screenshots on the forums.

AFK won’t even make a difference in those games, they’re decided the moment I load in but I get your point. It’s just a mess.

I’m 100% sure there’s a bug but you know ANet won’t ever admit it and it took so much posts with proof just to make them even look at their algorithm -_-

this happen bout a week ago i think, i saw this guys in HOTM with cool armors skins so i was checking him out so irem this guys name and rank. he is in silver… so then my Q popped and to my surprise its the guy i was staring about. and im in plat 2. needless to say we lose.

Same exact thing happened to me. Was top 100 didnt play against SINGLE top 50 player, instead i was matched with gold players in my team and got dragged down into plat t1/t3 gold and THEN i got matched against top rank 2 and 3 duo. When there was 250 rating difference i didnt play vs them but when there was 550 rating difference i did? This is the reason why they win 4-5 rating in legendary, because they play vs gold. So gold=legendary pretty much i guess?. I thought that matchmaking in silver/gold is so much worse but its actually the opposite. Also dropped from rank 100 out of top 250 in just one lost game. 10/10 system
