Talking about armor crafting. I just started- glory rank 4. As far as I know I’m supposed to be salvaging the rewards I get per rank in order to get mystic forge materials. But… what am I supposed to make? Should I be slowly upgrading myself as I go, or would it be better to aim for my favorite set and start saving up? Do the resources for these two options even overlap? So confused!

You need to salvage some stuff to get these consumables for the forge, arcane powder, arcane orbs and then the tokens (rabbit, deer, dolyak etc). So with those mats you can craft items, just add like heavy chest token and you got your 4 things for the forge, but you can also acquire gear in the chests as well. With the exception of the rabbit tokens each tier of token has like 3-4 sets of gear with it, rabbit only has like 2 or something, it needs a high end one implemented for it. When you salvage higher items you can sometimes get better crafting mats instead of the arcane orbs, these are arcane crystals for middle tiers and then arcane slivers which are the highest tiered mat.
