What warriors need to be decent again.

Fast hands baseline.
Warriors sprint moved to defence minor on top of thick skin.

Other suggestions welcome.

I think something cool they could do with warrior to make it less passive and more fun to play while giving it a chance in the post hot world would be to remove the physical utilities and instead make them f3-f4 u choose 2…revert the recent changes to them but change the trait peak performance so instead of reducing cds it adds 1 sec protection 1 sec resistance 1 sec regen …i think this could make warrior one of the more interesting classes to play then… without making it overly op the biggest problem now is access to abilities and useful skills along with damage mitigation

Fast hands baseline would be so freaking useful for warriors to have. Been playing around with Shoutbow zerker post patch.
It does pretty well, considering all the projectile hate. Missing fast hands kinda keeps the build from being somewhat competetive.

fasthands should not be baseline. yes it would be useful but cdr on weaponswap is just not something that should be baseline… what warrior needs is more protection. if you compare all otger classes and elite specs to warrior, most of them get a lot of protection. yes warrior has more armor and high health, but with this power creep it doesn’t even make a big difference.

The last thing this game needs is more protection. Id rather advocate to give no class protection or stability uptime higher than 20% softcap(meaning if you take every possible source you can reach about 20%)

Well…..I’ve done a little testing on Warrior in spvp. Traited defense for buff to adrenal health and also took cleansing ire for condi removal. Traited in discipline and took burst mastery for adrenaline upkeep. Keeping 3 bars of adrenaline is pretty easy and should be able to have almost constant regen due to adrenal health and can cleanse up to 3 condis every 7 sec (cooldown on F1 with versatile power from discipline). In theory this sounds pretty good, however you **MUST**hit with your F1 to reap these benefits. Miss, get blocked or interrupted and you’re out of luck. Still learning this build but so far I find that I still melt pretty fast, especially to condis. Will keep working on it and would be happy to hear feedback or suggestions. I love warrior and I’m getting tired of being a joke in spvp. If the only answer is to base your entire build around just surviving then my warrior will be retired until such time as that is not needed. IE….having no choice but to use healing sig, berserker stance, endure pain x2 etc…..

warrior needs a complete trait rework and shuffle.

the main problem with warrior right now is that you need more traits than you can take.

if you take berserker you need

a) defense for endure pain and rousing resilience

b) discipline for warrior’s sprint, versatile rage, fast hands and burst mastery

now you have a build that has some survivability, some damage but is basically a useless 1v1 build that doesn’t help your team in any way.

what you need is tactics but you can’t take it because you already have 3 traitlines.

another problem is headbutt. again, it’s a very selfish elite skill and your team would benefit way more if you took banner. but you can’t because you need the adrenaline for the berserker mode. or you take the signet and lose a utility skill.

oh and arms traitline is just useless.

A huge boost would have been converting condis to boons on F1, since that seems to be the motif with us now, everything is F1, F1 to save the day! F1 for damage and sustain! Oh, but we actually have to land it.

Access to protection, seems we, the Warrior, who should have the most access to it, has the least.

Personally I’m tired of the backseat treatment, although Guards may have it worse now.

I hear you man! I think you’re on to something with converting condis though. Change cleansing ire to “converting ire”. Convert 1 condi per bar of adrenaline spent. I will go too far and say F1 skills should be unlockable as well. I don’t care if the community scolds me for it.
